Think it's a Euro footy site taking a stab in the dark to be fair.

I suppose with 18 months left and after a good half season so far he's just putting the feelers out there. Bloody agents.

Putting the feelers out? More like a hungry octopus on speed grasping for whatever he can get his client plus whatever he's 'entitled' to in commission. Yeah, bloody agents looking out for their clients. And themselves  ;) .

If there is interest then I’d be looking to extend his contract by a couple of years which we may have to include a release clause in or risk losing him for free
I’d say somewhere between 15-20 million seems about right

There are few certainties in life, but Maja leaving us on a free is one and his agent will ensure that.

Joking aside, we rarely get top value (or in the case of KG after his 18 goal season) no interest for our best players and I hope our new regime change that.

Sell Maja and TF for the right price only and put the club on a steady financial position to push forward without the fear of points deductions.

I would accept anything above £10m for each of them, but £30m would be great.

Chelsea and Spurs really? Chelsea as far as I can make out have recruited exactly 1player  from the Championship in the last decade. Spurs have a little bit more of a track record of picking up youngsters who have had a break out season at Championship level (Gray and Clarke spring to mind) yet Maja doesn't fit that profile he's 26 for a start. In short this is bunkum.

Glad we are all supporting the same team. For what its worth I think Fellows is worth more than £10M and Maja more than £15M when I look at what clubs are paying these days. Problem is getting someone to buy. I have faith in our management that they will get the best deal they can, if indeed we sell them at all in this window.

The tones of the responses from some on this forum are a joke.

If a £15 million offer comes in from either Chelsea or Spurs then team Bikul will surely struggle not to accept it. It would give us immediate relief from our current financial issues compared to the outside chance of promotion.
Its a very tricky one to be honest, if the option comes about, glad it is not me having to decide.

If it came in from both them letter nodding war begin (along with the acquisition of a couple of loanees…
If it came from one and was upfront then we take it
I think he is great for us but everything has a price and I’d say 15 is not turn down able unless offered in 5 yearly payments
If youre going to get told off, get told off for doing something not for doing nothing..

Injury news from Dood

Josh Maja a doubt for the next few weeks.

Rested for the cup game due to a knock but seems might be more of an issue now.

Not that I think it will happen, but you wouldnt get a bidding war in that situation. Pretty sure Maja would dictate which one he wanted to go to.

I just do not see either of these making a bid for him ....

Damn, would rather we get on the blower to Carlton Cole rather than try Devante in the role for the next couple of weeks. Better yet get his old man off the sofa for a few weeks!

Perhaps the player we can least do without. Cole or Wallace up front it is!

Think I’d rather Nat King than Devante  :-\ :P

Now confirmed, out until the Spring. Maja is the worst possible injury that we could pick up.

Our season feels like it could unravel very quickly. No chance of the play offs now. Need to start thinking about next season.

Terrible news. We now have a big problem. Dike is nowhere near ready to come back (if indeed he ever will be), Cole is nowhere near good enough, and neither Grant or Wallace are really suited to the role. The only solution I can see is to urgently try to find someone on loan for the rest of the season. This starkly brings into focus just how dependent we have been on Maja this season.

Where there’s a Wallace there’s a way. Not sure I wouldn’t rather have Greg on the offensive than Jed!

There goes our chances of getting a decent transfer fee for him, and also most likely any chance of promotion unless a Prem club for some reason wanted to loan us a good striker on favourable terms (not going to happen).

May as well just run with Brunt & Co until the end of the season now, as for all intents and purposes ours is pretty much over already. Just limp along until the summer now and then have a fresh look at things.

Grant straight through the middle for me now with Johnston and Fellow either side and pack the midfield with Molumby, Mowatt and Diakite

This will hit us hard. Some say our squad is a good one at this level but I’m not so sure. One thing is clear and that is that Maja is the last person we want out inured. We have not a single option as centre forward who is worthy of the role.

At least Grant is having a decent season so he’s the obvious replacement then we need a decent loan.

Or, step up Reyes Cleary.
