The joys of social media, a supporter shouts at a player and the player reacts and it is all over the place, WHY

Completely agree. Big fuss over nothing. People need to grow up.

The booing occurred following the flicking of the V’s.

Honestly thought it was the other way around. My first impression was that they were booing one of the officials who was nearby at the time and didn't know Chalobah had responded until my lad pointed it out.

More concerned we signed him in the first place than I am by him having a bite, it's just a pity he doesn't show more bite during games as everything seems to go on around him rather than directly involving him.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Totalling fair game for me. If supporter(s) want to abuse players and treat them like punching bags then don't get upset if one snaps and gives you some back.

Absolutely mate….

We should not be abusing our own while they are on the pitch, and when you do then don’t be surprised if they answer back

Exactly how I see it. Each to their own but I would never be shouting abuse at one of our own players until at least the final whistle.

I don't rate Chalobah in the slightest, poor signing and I hope he is moved on.

Told Albion supporters to f off twice now and no one's done anything or even had a word with him.

A sign of how bad things are here.

Sorry but none of us are able to say that. Let's see if he is punished after last night when he definitely did have an altercation with his own fans.

Why should he be punished? God is this the world we live in now?

Abuse is yelled at him so he gives a bit back. SO WHAT?

Seriously is everyone that offended by everything?

It's nothing!!!!

I played (centre mid) against a Croatian fifth tier side in May.

Barely got a touch and the game was happening around me because their movement and their physical attributes were just so much better.

Chalobah looks like that at championship level - a player who's 2/3 levels above where he should be.

Yeah no argument on that score he's not good enough. Rubbish signing, get rid.

I'm not offended by the way. I just witnessed something that was unsavoury. My comment was in response to one that stated that no-one had spoken to the player about the incident. We cannot know that. Sorry if it offended. :P

Full apology by Nat Chalobah posted on Twitter after his altercation with a fan on Tuesday. Fair play, and nice to see him own up.

You know the rules. If the signing is a success it’s Carlos and his contacts. If they bomb it’s all on Ian Pearce. Same as the pile of tat Bilic lumbered us with but hardly gets mentioned.
This feels like it’s an actual reality .
If youre going to get told off, get told off for doing something not for doing nothing..

Can’t say any fairer than that, we are all human and our buttons can be pushed, he has acknowledged it and that’s all he can do

If only it went a little bit further and said:

"I now know my limitations and I am retiring and tearing up the rest of my wba fc contract.

In additio, I also  paying back all my salary from January 2023".

If carling wrote apologies....

One of the worse mf I have seen at the Albion since my first game in 1987.

That corner he gave away was a very difficult thing to do from where he was.

Please, please, please someone take him off our hands.

I know TGH is more of the Molumby mould however if we're taking a central midfielder off i'd much rather TGH be next in line.

Genuinely looks like he’s won a competition to play football.

Insanely slow - Swansea players just glided past him.

And don’t even start me on that corner he gave away. How did he even manage to do that?

Has to go.

As I said before we signed him, he is worse than Livermore as he has zero legs. The bloke couldn't even jump when he was defending all those corners. Liability.

Was very poor when he came on today. Okay needed to come off but he was not the answer. Still do not agree with the booing when he came on though.
