Bit of a leap given they play on opposite sides of the pitch.

Don't tell them that!

EDIT - Blackburn fan responding to the rumour says he'd prefer Swift. Blackburn please take both!

Started at Pompey I believe so makes sense

Fingers crossed!

Blimey, I really hope there’s some truth in this one. I will repeat what I stated recently, he has been a very poor signing from da one, not just recently.

Totally disagree with that.  Very poor over the last 12 months but fine up until then.

Like a few of our players, form drops off and they seem to give up. Hopefully a move is on the cards and will suit all of us.

And that is your prerogative. I stand by my comments and know what I see with my own eyes at the games I attend.

I’d not be too upset to see Diangana, Swift and Wallace all leave this month for free to be honest. If we could help our cash flow / ffp situation further by getting any sort of transfer fee then even better.

I don't think you could ever say Wallace doesn't give 100%. You can tell he's a tryer. The issue is his legs are gone. I remember Nicky Shorey was similar. He was great for a season but once his legs went it was game over for him.

I think with Wallace, he has ran his socks off for most of his career which is why he's facing such a quick decline, much like Rooney did at the same age.

Nonetheless, I think the line in the summer was that he'd be open for a move and was willing to take a  pay cut if it meant more minutes. Hopefully that means we'll let him go for next to nothing if he has genuine suitors.

I just wish he gave that 100% for a different team as he is massive drain on limited resources.

"Next to nothing", we would have to pay him to take a much lower contract elsewhere.

Hopefully, now Millwall have the Esse money golum will spend some of the "precious" funds on him.

One can dream.

I saw it posted in the official twitter page.

I stopped myself reading the comments as I can safely guess what our 'fans' were posting. No doubt some even tag him in  ::)

If so then all I can say is it would take one of life's special little cornets to do that. Glad I'm not on X, Facebook or any of the other usual offending platforms. The only reason we haven't already been taken over by AI is probably because it can't see the point.

Dread to think what the Carlos Corberan Tribute page must be like.

@JedWallace12
Thankyou for all the well wishes. Been largely a frustrating season for me but I’ll be supporting best I can over the next few weeks as always. Overall the lads have been great & we’ve got ourselves to 6th in the league with 13 games to go. Got a real chance to achieve something this season let’s move forward together in a positive way 🫡💪🏼@WBA

Great message. Gets way too much stick.

Yes - I find it so hard to believe he has dropped off so much in form over the last two seasons. Looking at his pictures sometimes he looks about 10 years older than he is supposed to be and plays like it!

I wish him a speedy recovery and agree that he cares big time. However I must add that I do not think his absence will unduly damage our prospects.

I think the drop hits people a bit later than it's hit Jed but it can happen, when i was 29 i was ok, when i was 32 i was rubbish and when i hit 35 i was really rubbish and couldn't run at all  ;D

I still find Facebook useful. There are groups I find useful to be a part of. Especially when reminiscing about historical events that I share with others, especially musical, football, and comedy. Most of the sites I frequent are positive in their comments section. Social media is a tool. You just have to use it right. And skip the comments sometimes.
