No. False nine. In a useful sense preferably.

I honestly don’t believe they are up to that role either.

I don’t see it
I think the pecking order for CF goes as below

Grant
Cole
Wallace/Diangana
Then Cleary

Wallace/Diangana for centre forward role? Just no! I appreciate the paucity of options but truly hope we avoid that one.

A game I was looking forward to and am now nervous about. The Maja injury, the lack of a new manager and the potential new manager bounce for them gives me a bad feeling.

This will hit us hard. Some say our squad is a good one at this level but I’m not so sure. One thing is clear and that is that Maja is the last person we want out inured. We have not a single option as centre forward who is worthy of the role.

I loved Mowbray and the football was excellent. Let’s not kid ourselves though, this squad is not nearly as good as the one Tony had last time. We must recruit a new guy come what may. I really do not want us to continue with the current threesome. I’m not being disrespectful to them but just don’t think there’s a head coach amongst them.

If a £15 million offer comes in from either Chelsea or Spurs then team Bikul will surely struggle not to accept it. It would give us immediate relief from our current financial issues compared to the outside chance of promotion.
Its a very tricky one to be honest, if the option comes about, glad it is not me having to decide.

I just do not see either of these making a bid for him ....

The ITKs saying after initial contact it's unlikely Dyche will be having formal talks.

Now that really is no surprise.....

Is Cooper still being paid by Forest? If so, that probably rules him out as too expensive for us.

No, by Leicester.

How come he is one of the favourites for the Luton job?

I didn’t say there was no way round it, but Luton will either have to offer a higher salary than he gets on gardening leave, or the guy just wants to work and is willing to take a pay cut. I promise you that this is how GL works

He signed a 3 year deal in June 24 so I guess for him to accept a job he gives up any compensation right from Leicester but I would guess we have nothing to pay them either. It leaves him secure enough to wait for the right job.

That is how it works in the real world. He must forego the remainder of the payments Leicester owe to him. Just not going to happen.

I just wish he gave that 100% for a different team as he is massive drain on limited resources.

And I agree with that too

No chance either of those will come in for him.

Totally agree that he gives 100 per cent

Totally disagree with that.  Very poor over the last 12 months but fine up until then.

And that is your prerogative. I stand by my comments and know what I see with my own eyes at the games I attend.

Blimey, I really hope there’s some truth in this one. I will repeat what I stated recently, he has been a very poor signing from da one, not just recently.

16
That had nothing to do with team selection. We are not nearly good enough and this just highlighted the fact. Let’s please now get the new manager in and focus on trying to make the playoffs. I know we would be an embarrassment in the premier league but will worry about that if it happens.

17
There’s a serious side to this and it’s very sobering. What a gulf in class against a team who are far from the best in the premier league and have not picked a full strength team today. Scary!
Long way back for us as a club if we are to ever become established in the big league.

18
We've got what Brunt selected for us sadly.

Or… we are not nearly good enough. I know you like to blame whoever is manager every time we lose but I see a class difference that no manager could deal with.

19
Swift, Racic and Grady .  3 luxury players all starting. Strange one

Something that again highlights weakness of overall squad depth.

20
They definitely are the better side.

That’s just stating facts. Of course they are a better side than us.

Those not wanting Dyche can relax. He wouldn’t entertain a job with us as things stand.

I’d argue pardew and Bruce through there managerial career  both played better football than pulis teams

I agree with you.

As others have said, I do not think any of us know much, if anything about these 3 candidates. We simply have to trust the club to get it right. For what its worth, I disagree that we taken too long to get this done. These things take time and with 3 bank holiday days included in the period, it's not really been a long time.

24
I'd play our best team here but wouldn't risk anyone with a slight knock like you might in a league game. I would be interested in seeing if a midfield three would work although fear Maja would be too isolated, maybe something like:

Palmer

Furlong
Bartley
Heggem
Styles

Molumby
Diakite
Mowatt

Fellows
Maja
Grant

Nothing wrong with your proposal but I fear we will not go as strong as this....
