If these were a top side i don't mind sitting deep, but they are mid table dutch side, we have too come out more and press

A midtable Dutch sides' reserve team and we've set up to play Barca at the Nou Camp. I'm happy to stay patient on transfer and takeover news but on the playing side it already looks like we've set our stalls for the season.

#WBA v @MijnVitesse: Foster; Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Evans; Phillips, Fletcher (c), Yacob, Leko; Morrison; Rondon.
You have to regard this as not being far off what Pulis regards as being his stongest XI (notwithstanding sulking Saido), so it looks like Pulis is, predictably, continuing in last season's vein with regard to Chester, despite his impressive performances at Euro 2016. I'm sure Chester realises it's futile staying with us when Olsson is still being preferred to him.

Salomon has just stuck a 30 yard freekick in the top bin. 1-0.

Great strike from Rondon from around 25 yards after some good dribbling from Leko

Agree, but could be something to do with Chester being behind on pre season due to Wales

We're still going to be a functional deep lying team that plays without the ball, the hope for improvement comes in when we have the ball, Phillips instead of Gardner for example.

Maybe, but you'd expect him to be pretty fit from being involved for so long in that tournament.

Not seen much of Phillips but Leko is getting lots of the ball and causing problems.

really hope we dont send him on loan and he continues to get lots of game time

Just a thought, but perhaps we'd be even better if we had the ball more often.....

Chester will never play CH whilst Pulis is in charge.

Equaliser, poor from Myhill pushing out into the danger area instead of away from goal. Will be tough now for Saido and the reserves.
