Tottenham were very poor today until they scored, which was a flukey goal by Townsend. The second goal was very good, excellent build up play and overall Spurs were the better team. Everton at home next for Villa who have been in excellent form.

Lukaku will destroy that ramshackle defence, wouldn't you just love him to get 3 and show a t-shirt with WKWWA? :D

Found this quite myself. Journalist for the Mirror pretty ruthless in his assessment of the Sunderland players  :D

Two world class strikes in the Palace vs Fulham game tonight, only half time as well! Kasami's in particular was very special.

Both of the Fulham goals were very good. it has been a decent first half even in this early stage of the season I see this as a game that Palace must win, if they don't get something from this game more of a gap will start to appear at the bottom of the table and with Arsenal coming to Palace on Saturday i cant see them getting anything in that one.

Another great win for Arsenal today, however the next couple of games which are Liverpool and Man Utd will prove how big title contenders they will be I think this season.

I fancy Everton to nick it at Villa today, United to beat Stoke, Norwich to just edge Cardiff.

Some amazing games today.

Man Utd 3 Stoke 2. What a win that was for David Moyes. Stoke have now gone six games without a win.

Pleased to see Everton win at Villa today. Everton have been great under Martinez, Lukaku has been immense so far again this season what a player he is turning out to be.

Yeah well done Everton and Lukaku, kept us above the Vile.

Norwich struggling, 0-0 at home to Cardiff isn't what they would have wanted.

Apparently big contoversy at Carrow Road today, where Norwich scored but it wasn't given. One of those spirit of the game, pass back to the opposition jobs. Should be interesting to watch.

Also noticed tweets suggesting that there was a 20 man scuffle down the tunnel.

I caught the Everton goals earlier and they were both identical finishes - wonderful.

Southampton keeping up there excellent start to the season. Fulham who for the large part of the game on Monday night played well were very poor today. I would say Southampton have been the surprise package of the season.

I fancy Newcastle to edge it at Sunderland tomorrow. I think Chelsea v Man City will be a draw.

I heard that the moment the ball went in the net Hughton was calling for his players to let Cardiff walk one in to equalize

Sorry, I quoted the wrong thing. I meant to agree with Jacko that Southampton will hit a brick wall.

Sunderland beat Newcastle 2-1.

Big win for them - their first of the season and takes them off the bottom of the table.

After the game, Newcastle banned several of their local media reporters for their reporting of the protests against Mike Ashley last week. Pardew refused to answers their questions.

Currently watching Chelsea/City. 1-1 at the moment. Not been a bad game. I'm a bit skeptical of Man City defensively. For a team which have aspirations of winning the Premier League they're not good enough defensively in my opinion - especially when Vincent Kompany is missing.

An absolute charade from Joe Hart and Nastastic. Hart should have remained on his line and allowed the defender to do his job properly. Ten minutes after I questioned them defensively.

Torres takes advantage and Chelsea win 2-1.

He's part of the problem, I agree. I really don't like Nastasic either to be honest. Reminds me of David Luiz with how nonchalant he looks in his defending.

I guess this might be filed under another "uncharacteristic mistake" from Joe Hart..

I think defending could cost City the title this season. It was  good game, Chelsea are really clicking and hitting form now.

Big win for Sunderland, however I still think they will go down this season. Spurs scoring late on as well big three points for them.
