Doyle confirm he will be out for most of the remainder of the season.

He is moaning about not receiving compensation, and yet admits to not taking out insurance.  ???

Is it even possible for him to be eligible for them, I'm assuming their 25 man squad is already full.

It ain't going to happen. I think it was CL who retweeted a post from the official wolves twitter account saying that their 25man squad is full and he would not be eligiable.

Doyle is easily their best player , i'd take him , Jarvis and possibly mancienne the rest I don't feel would either be good enough or be what Roy would look for..
On a side note I hope they stay up ...waits for abuse....much rather get rid of wigwam , blackburnt chicken, and the vile pink and blue scum from ast...sorry witton..
If youre going to get told off, get told off for doing something not for doing nothing..

They knew he was a sick note when they signed him, near miss for us - glad we nicked JT off them instead.

Typical dingles, allways chase the bigger name.

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy has said that anyone who comes knocking on his door to try and sign winger Matt Jarvis will get a custard pie in the face.

Quite ironic really as they 'play' in a custard bowl!

This is where Mick lets himself down, the reality for most clubs is that if a big boy wants a player they will get him - it's just up to the smaller clubs to get the contracts tight and get the best fee possible.

Wolves could well be spent.  Doyle is the only one who can play in the lone role and playing 4-4-2 leaves them so open in midfield because they dont have the quality in there.

Fletcher has proven to be a total waste of money, the defence is worse than the one they were promoted with, Henry is a one trick pony and the rest are much of a muchness.

To think they were crowing after spending big on the Burnley donkey and staying up in the worst prem ever...

The bottom seems to have dropped out of their season in the last 8 or 9 days.

They're in trouble. Just about the wrong time to collapse too.
Doyle and Hunt are out for the season, Ebanks Blake took a knock today and they ended up putting Kightly upfront.
For a PL club it's not good enough. They need some kind of attacking option, if not from midfield. Today they had their chances but where weak. Not to mention their defence which fell asleep.

Still, they have a good run in on paper and could get out of it. I'd love us to send them down though :)

I actually don't mind Mick McCarthy he always comes across as football through and through.

I'm not sure that Wolves are that terrible a side this year, it's just that things haven't clicked for them.  Some of the games I've seen them play, they've played pretty well but come away with nothing.

They are clearly in big trouble though, no doubt, with is good for us.

Indeed they haven't had things 'click' for them I agree.

But their problem is that they've been like this for the entire season and have had no real run in form at any stage.

Mick was right though when he said it would go down to the last day for them.

They have a poor defence more suited to the Championship at best. Elokobi, Stearman, Berra and Foley are not good enough as a unit for the Prem.
