Scott Sinclair signs for Preston for 2 1/2 years. 30 years of age now, but he was dynamite for Swansea when in the championship, did okay(ish) at Villa and had a good time at Celtic as well.

For a low fee, seems a really good for for Preston. Could be one of those signings that works out well. Fingers crossed with him starting his career so early, he has burnt out a bit too young.

Mate, you would do the same if you had a hard days training and then have to go home to Helen Flanaghan……...

Didn't mentioned a s*** load of other clubs too.

Mentioned Swansea as it was the same level he is playing at now, while villa and celtic were his last 2 clubs and where he seemed to find a bit more form again.

19 year old Marc Guehi following Rhian Brewster through the door at Swansea. All of a sudden their side is starting to look a bit more impressive. Seems premier league clubs are looking at Cooper as being the ideal man to develop their players (following his spell in the England youth set up). Keep your eye in them between now and the second half of the season. Play offs at least if things work out.

Eddie Nketiah going to either Forest, Bristol City or Sheff Wed (expected to be one of the first 2). Was poor up here New Years Day but that was as a loan striker. He has scored a few already for Leeds so ifnyou can find the right role/position for him, he could be useful for wherever he chooses to sign for.

Also confirmation from Arteta this morning that Arsenal are going to send their exciting playmaker Emile Smith-Rowe out on loan this January - most likely to the championship.

Was hoping Smith-Rowe would go to a prem club really, ad he has a bit of the Harvey Barnes about him. Plays a bit deeper than Barnes and maybe more central, he has a good eye for goals (plus assists) and runs well from deep. Will be a bit put out if he signs for a direct rival as he could very easily take to this level and be a huge asset for somebody. Please don't give him to Brentford/Forest/Preston/Fulham Arteta.

Looks like Smith Rowe is going to Huddersfield if reports are to be believed.

Yes but of all your anecdotal evidence the vast bulk of it would (should) have come watching the useless waster in an Albion shirt.

I’d be happy with that, keeps him away from our rivals.

He played for us while in the prem, somewhere it has never worked out for him. Outside of the prem though he has been a relative success. That’s why I mentioned Celtic and Swansea.

Emile Smith-Rowe's Huddersfield move confirmed. Pleased with that as we get to see him at this level, but at a safe distance.

Leeds signing Man City's England youth international Ian Poveda (possibly on a permanent). Really skillful but looks a bit on the small side. Was interested to see where he would turn up but my initial impression is that he won't be a first team regular for Leeds. Decent squad addition though.

Brentford strolling it at 2-0 up after 23 mins at home to QPR. Best team I've seen play us yet.

First was off a free kick that shouldn’t have been given as there was a clear foul on the QPR defender prior.
Second was sublime, although keeper and defender made life easy to create the chance.
Bees are form team at present, no doubt

To be fair they are a really good team with a good manager. That front 3 are one the best in the league.

Brentford will make a fortune in the summer from the three goal scorers if they don’t go up. They’ll clear 60m.

Someone said Mitrovich was stretchered off today. Could be a few months out. Hopefully slows their roll a bit.
