Leeds United Twitter Account

Kemar Roofe will face a period on the sidelines following confirmation that he damaged knee ligaments during the win over Swansea

That could be a great assist for us!

Cheers Dan, I had a blonde moment and wasn't signed in when I went on there last night. I set my browser to remember me but it didn't this time.

Again like my views on the Sheff Utd Thread we should be getting a result here and have nothing to fear, player for player no contest

They can't suck up the fact we've got a late win, simple as that. I'm sure they've got away with their fair share this season. There's no denying we've had a bit of good fortune on our side lately, and the two key examples are a handball equaliser for Rodders and the penalty dive by Gayle,  but as always in football it seems to be the blame game. Honest truth is, we've deserved our results this season because we've had cutting edge, and perhaps villa and forest aside i can't think of too many other clear examples.

Leeds are also playing away at QPR on Tuesday night.  Could be an advantage for us.

Crazy really how TV can dictate to clubs when they play.

Yes given their Tuesday game we have to make sure we are fresher and more energetic than Leeds on Friday night in a similar way to how Sheff Utd were with us.

Must win.

Don't want to see Livermore at all or Rodriguez marginalising Gayle, who we now need to build this big promotion push around for the last 12 games. Would love to see Brunt and Morrison return to the squad for the final push.

If we defeat Leeds on Friday, our record against Norwich (Home & Away), Sheffield United (Home & Away) and Leeds (Home & Away), would read P 6 W 4 D 1 L 1.
A terrific return.

We will have an advantage as Leeds play Away on the Tuesday. We need to take advantage of this. Our start to the game is crucial.

I hope Hegazi and Hal Robson-Kanu are fit and available.

                               Johnstone

Holgate           Dawson           Hegazi             Gibbs

                               Barry

                Phillips                        Harper

                               Rodriguez

               Robson-Kanu                 Gayle

Subs: Bond, Mears, Adarabioyo, Livermore, Johansen, Hoolahan, Murphy

When we played Leeds at The Hawthorns that was the first time we abandoned the three at the back and went 4-3-3. Leeds weren't expecting that they wouldn't have prepared for us playing like that and it showed we stuffed them 4-1.

I would do a similar thing this time as well. Our away form is excellent but it's been against lesser teams this game is far more difficult and we need an edge. Leeds will expect us to set up 4-3-3 with two wide forwards, they won't be expecting us to play a diamond with two men through the middle up top. Leeds like their centre backs to play on the ball as well, HRK and Gayle harassing them all match may unsettle them. We have the advantage on them here as they play on Tuesday and we have two days extra rest. We need to get at them from the start, don't let them settle and we can win this game.

When we beat Norwich and Sheffield United we had Harvey Barnes.  We were a far better side then with him in the team. Our recent away wins have been against lesser teams.

The Norwich game was also only their second game of the season (our 3rd) and long before they hit their rich vein of form.

We have recently beaten Stoke who were in the premier league with us last season and also Villa, not sure either of those are really lesser teams. Depends on what you mean by "lesser" I guess.
