Love it when you win the League in October. Man United won it in August. When will people learn 6 months is a very long time in football. 8 months even more so.

Well it certainly comes across that way, Albion fans crying their eyes out because wolves have played a very, very average villa side off the park and now because of that there is no way we could get near em in terms of Albion getting a positive result against em! Wolves may well come up and do well, they seem to have financial backing and seem to have a decent manager, but I think it's worth pointing out every single team in the premier league is better than Aston villa, every single one!

If we were to play Villa now I would hedge my bets on it being a 0-0 bore fest.

We're no better than probably the top 10 teams in the championship and the same applies for 6 or 7 other Prem teams as well.

If we were to play a Wolves, Villa, Boro or Derby you wouldn't know which one was the higher division side.

Straight answer - No, IMHO. When you sit back for 90 minutes how can you be proactive on a football pitch. We just ask to lose each week. Only when we go behind does he finally attempt a lame effort at scoring. We would struggle to beat any of the top 6 in the Championship right now. However, with a different philosophy, and some creativity we would beat Wolves (But it aint going to happen whilst TP is still here)

No we wouldn't, and we wouldn't beat Walsall either! And Man Utd will still win the league.

The same TP who always seemed to beat us when we had free-flowing football served up by Mowbray and others.

We lost at home to Man City's second team.
They are holding their own at the moment, up there.
What does that say?

Showed a bit of intent by looks of things. 6k away fans too midweek, fair play to them. That’s to any club that takes that amount midweek, not because it’s the Dingles.

We probably wouldn't even try to beat them. They've managed 4 shots on target to Man City's 3. It will be interesting to see our stats on Saturday.

Can give them nothing but credit for tonight, they should have won the game against a City team that we lost to comfortably at our own place. The Wolves even stuck out a complete second string save for a couple whereas we had a fairly strong side out.

Not to take anything away from the Wolves but Man City didn't beat us comfortably. Fake news  ;)

They set up to contain and then attack.
Pulis sets us up to defend and nothing more.
