I welcome the idea of Paul Scharner scoring on 93 minutes.  ;D

...and for him to run over the seal fans and reveal the t-shirt!

Think there would be a certain warmness if Wigan won 1-0 with a goal in the 82nd, I mean its not like 82 means anything to them , and they would probably never mention it?.
Maybe we would all clap in the 82nd from that day forward.

I still think they will drop, really need Fulham and Sunderland to beat them then it would be almost done.

Love it if it went to the final day against Wigan and the went down to an own goal on 93 minutes  :P
If that happens it will be the best summer ever, It could rain all day all summer long and I would still have a smile on my face thinking the vile scum bags have gone down.

I didn't expect them to win the last two games and they now look safe to me,love to be wrong though.
Sunderland look desperate at the minute their visit to seal park will be a massive game.

Can't argue with that.   :)

So yes, Villa's in much better shape after seeing off Stoke handily today.

They're looking in pretty good shape now to be honest, they seem to have cracked it and with Benteke they have a player good enough to keep them up virtually by himself, even if the teams form did collapse again. But 3 wins in the last 4 suggests they've found form at the right time.

I'd be very surprised if one of Stoke, Sunderland, and Wigan didn't do worse than them. Sunderland probably most likely.

Just seen the highlights on goals on sunday, thought they were very lucky. Stoke should have had 2 clear penalties for handball.

Great goal by Lowton but Gabby diving and Benteke elbowing same old villa

They seem to be playing better football than us at the moment, of course i would rather be in our position, but i think that will be enough to see them survive. Not even sure it will go to the last day now, what a shame for Football that Aston Villa will not get relegated  :(

i really don't care, much rather stoke/wigan/qpr went down as i love the derbies so much. Also i like that we have an even fanbase and that i can actually get tickets when i like.

Umm, no, Mr. Lambert. I mean, fugg no: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22109498

He's pretty good, but not £25m good.

What's Lambert really trying to do here -- raise Benteke's price, tell the vultures to fugg off, or is he just plain clueless?

Or right?

Come on Fulham. I expect tomorrow to be a close game, hopefully Fulham can nick it and Berbatov can prove to be the class act.

Fulham not great on the road, hopefully they'll have too much for the seals though

If our defence had given me that amount of time and space, I would have looked like Lionel Messi (almost  :P)
