Great performance going forward, shakey at the back despite the clean sheet. Against weaker teams it makes us look more convincing. We didn't even get out of second gear and we still looked comfortable.

Warm in the car now. That was as easy as I've seen for some time. Never got out of first gear and didn't need to. Rotherham were absolutely awful as stated earlier in the week.

Match stats are telling. Rotehrham had 18 shots, we had 11, but we win 4-0.
In a nutshell, their finishing was abysmal, ours was clincial.

Quite an odd 4-0 as far as they go. Whilst we deservedly won, they also had some massive chances; hitting the bar at 1-0, the penalty, a great save from Johnstone and one cleared off the line

Overall though, a good performance and a clean sheet (somehow).

Away win and a clean sheet. Good use of bench to make sure Barry and Phillips aren't burnt out ready for Boxing Day. 50 league goals. Brilliant Albion. Well done Darren Moore. Hopefully we follow it up with 6 points at the Hawthorns

i don't think we played exceptional, didn't need to really. a solid team performance 3 points and a clean sheet is as good as it gets. our away record is quite impressive.

The clean sheet is nice, but doesnâ€™t bother me as much as some. Since we seem to be focusing on banging them in, Iâ€™d expect us to concede. Itâ€™s only needless errors that need to be eradicated. As for the substitutions, I feel they were made more to give players game time, than to save legs. As for the performance and result, I couldnâ€™t be happier. As fans, itâ€™s been quite a while for us to experience post match contentment like this. Long may it continue. Up the Baggies!!

Listening to Matt Wilson's interview he was also impressed with Hegazi and Dawson. He was also impressed with Barnes (again) and made the point that it's good that Leicester got that win as if Puel gets the boot, any new manager would be likely to want to bring players back to have a look at them.

If the team are playing well, they can envisage themselves playing in the Prem.
If our players are settled, they can look upwards.
It is when they are unsettled (as were a few pre season) they do not seem to really try.

Agree, wonder where we are on his contract negotiations.....seems to be getting late for a renewal and I wouldn't really blame him if he's checking his options. Moore obviously sees more value in giving Brunt and Morrison some game time for the Christmas fixtures. Guessing Harper and Field will re-emerge for the cup v Wigan.

Well Tyler Roberts left and it hasn't done him much harm... that's what some of our younger lads will be thinking.

We need to get him out on loan January to league one and tell him we want him playing championship football next year and eventually premier league level with us. And hope we can tie him down
