God, how could i forget Pulis off this list!!!
Tbf Pulis did his job but he should have been let go the summer before we went down. The club needed more ambition than "stay up" because eventually that is what will happen as proved

Of course there have been a few changes, as there are with any club over a summer transfer window, and the likes of Milenkovic who they brought in have been brilliant, but the core of the side remains and Nuno has them in 2nd place whereas Cooper was taking them down. I’m not trying to say that this makes him an awful manager, just trying to give a balanced argument in the same way I fully acknowledge that his achievement in getting them from the relegation zone to the play offs in that season was an achievement, but one I would caveat in saying that what Corberan achieved that season with a far worse side was a much better achievement. Cooper had plenty of time to turn it around given that he came in during the September of that season with only a handful games played.

As for Howe, he can hardly be faulted when he had the likes of Wilson and Isak to select ahead of him and it was hardly as if Howe failed during the time Wood was there, he rescued the season after Bruce made a mess of it (familiar story) and then led them to the Champions League the following season.

I just remain yet to be convinced by Cooper, but he would have my full support were we to appoint him and a hope that he turns out to be brilliant. Sadly the manager I would have wanted was appointed by Hull a couple of weeks back and has already started well, beating Blackburn away yesterday

Swings and roundabouts I guess. I think he did a great job at Forest 1st season and the Prem season was a struggle as expected, not helped by the recruitment team. Sometimes having a bigger budget doesn't help.

If he was to come here which to be honest I don't expect then I would hope he is given a chance to build something and give some of the youngsters minutes here and there when the game allows it.

You may not want the likes of Williams and Schumacher but given the likes of Tudor and Cooper are ‘highly unlikely’, then that does mean we’re
potentially fishing in their pond.

I may have got the wrong poster, so I apologise in advance if I have, but weren't you a big fan of Schumacher's when he was in the third tier with Plymouth and I used to say that he had just inherited Ryan Lowe's side and riding on his coat tails?

Do you think he is good enough for us after his sacking at Stoke and performance with Plymouth in the championship?

But, I would definitely interview him as he said he didn't regret leaving Plymouth and learnt a lot from his short spell at Stoke.

Regarding the owner of the coat, Ryan Lowe I think he has issues with keeping it in his pants and wouldn't want him anywhere near us.

Disagree. Did excellent with the England youth set up which got him to job at Swansea, did well there (2 play off finishes). Took over at Forest when they were bottom and got them promoted. Then kept them up when they had about 30 new players.

Lets also not forget that the Forest owner is an absolute lunatic, and many of those signings were his idea, rather than Coopers as I recall.

Steve Cooper is a bit of a  no brainer for me. Think our squad is in line with his preferred tactics and hes got proof of succeeding in the champ and keeping a team up in the prem.

Thanks Oldbury

Voted for Potter although as we’ve discussed probably unrealistic.

1) Potter
2) Cooper (maybe considered 1st choice as Potter so unlikely)
3) Heitinga

Voted for Williams . Tough choice between him and Cooper but just think he may be more interested in a longer term project and less likely to jump ship part way through if somebody else came a knocking !

I'd just like to suggest a temporary ban for anyone voting for Russell looking longingly in the mirror Martin. They would need to be named publicly of course and placed in imaginary stocks so we could pelt them imaginary rotten vegetables and slap them around the face with an imaginary wet fish. A life long ban should then apply if he's appointed, gains promotion and they come over all holier than though and suggest portions of humble pie all round. In my very honest opinion.

If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

I've voted for Cooper but my number one preference is David Moyes if he would come to us.
Would also be happy with Mark Robins.
