Correct. The only possible pen was the pull on Heggem which probably shouldve been given. The ref was awful. Hamer shouldve been sent off for a second yellow as well.

We easily deserved a point.

Blades are a very protected team from the games i've seen them in. No surprise to me to see us get the short end of the stick from the ref sadly.

Apart from the error I thought Diakite was great.

Molumby was fantastic.

I don't understand the comment about Wallace being better. He was anonymous again along with Swift, Grady and Dobbin.

I was hoping Grady signs of life recently would be the start of a purple patch but not to be.

I was one of them. Wallace is better lately compared to the rest of the season, a very low bar though. I still want him gone.

First, credit to the temporary management team and the players for the turn-around in performance after the disappointment in Derby. Particularly going to Sheff U, who were licking their wounds after losing the other day.

MOM was easy: Molumby was unbelievable. Covered every blade of grass and won almost every challenge. With Mowatt not playing, we needed that performance and it was a huge reason we took away a point.

Grant continues doing Grant things'. Another superb strike and one of our shining lights in a mediocre season.

Heard some interesting takes on Diakite. Adrian Goldberg just said he was his man of the match, which I cannot get my head around. Personally, I thought he did *okay*. There was the awful touch that led directly to their goal and he somewhat recovered. I couldn't understand why we gave him some of the passes into extremely tight areas so soon after the goal as, IMO, I felt he was a little rattled. Credit to him for wanting the ball but his passing was erratic at best.

Overall, a really pleasing point, where two defeats post-Corberan could have been hugely damaging to morale.

Thought the shirt pull by Molumby on the lad who did the overhead kick at the end could have been a pen as well. But we really did deserve something out of the game.Molumby and Diakite were excellent.

Could have been alright. Though was a bit leading elbow by Moore into Furlong as well.

Think the ball was long gone after the tackle on Heggem. Still technically a foul.but could see why not given.

Yes, but we got away with a couple of poor challenges in our box in the final stages.

The shirt pull by Molumby was a definite pen to be honest, probably the clearest of the lot, we got a way with one massively there.

No. That would've been ridiculously soft.

Really really chuffed to see us going for the three points with a gutsy performance. I think thats exactly what we were missing under CC....he would have set us up to defend with 10 men for the entire second half, and we would probably have been beaten as a consequence.

Stranger things have happened Oldbury and if Brunt had comfortably won all of our Head coach-less games, who knows what would/could strangely happen!

The post match comments from Chris Wilder amused me. He complained that we had far more quality on our bench. Saying that we had the likes of Devante Cole to bring in but failing to mention that they brought on a £23.5 million striker!

Both the Molumby shirt-pull and the Heggem wrestling to the ground could easily be given as penalties with game ending 2-2 so no different really

Thankfully Brewster is only worth the x3.5m of that!

Are you referring to Brewster?! Must be the biggest waste of money ever. Wilder's probably just embarassed to have spent it. And to think there were some on here suggesting we go in for Brewster when he was at Liverpool  :o

How very dare we have more quality on the bench.
What a truly weird thing to say, in every sense.

Watching the Molumby shirt pull with the Tom Davies overhead kick again, I think that's a pen - ref had no chance to see it mind you.

Liking Diakite, he just needs more games i think
Molumby vg
Our defence was sound and we won most of balls swung in for their cf
Thought we could have won it really, excellant 2nd half well played baggies
Now thrash Preston
