Clearly Marshall isn't impressing CC as that looked like an obvious game for him to get some minutes with our stirker injuries.

Would be nice to see what he can do though.

Would have taken a draw before the game but feel like we had the chances to win it. Swift should stick that away after Reach hit the post.

Fair result

Think it’s a good one for us

Don’t think we were at our best, but, we are so hard to breakdown…

Can’t fault the effort or the chances we created

They were better second half without being dominant. Probably a fair result but we certainly didn’t deserve to win.

Good point overall, most of us would have taken it.

Felt like we had enough chances to win, hit the post several times...but I'll take the point.

Good point. Had it down as a loss so a point gained for me. Thought we probably edged it and had the better chances.

On paper, only Leicester left which is a harder game than today. Get Bartley, M'Vila and BTA back up to speed and we're in a good position.

Decent performance against the divisions second most in form team - who also have probably the best 11 outside the relegated teams, have to be realistic. An away point here is decent stuff. We didn't give much up, and really with better finishing we could have got even more.

Feels a *little* like 2 points lost. Hull not near the level claimed they were on here. 3 good players with nothing else.

Bonkers subs from CC but they didnt cost us anything thankfully.

Hurry up back BTA as, for his faults and he does have them, he's better at that role than Weimann and Wallace

Thought Hull had more control second half, so in the end pleased with a point. The onus is on Hull to catch us.

Fair result in the end.  Both teams were pretty much the same.

I don't think the setup was quite right but I liked the idea of it.  We ended up with Grady and Wallace too isolated.  This was mostly down to Fellows and Johnstone not being in support.  Fellows was MUCH better than Johnstone though.  Johnstone had an awful game really.

The 3 subs made had a better impact than against Ipswich but I still don't think it increases our chances of winning the game.  Would have preffered to see the game out with Weimann up top, Wallace right, and Swift central.  Would have given Grady a bit longer wide left.

Palmer was terrible first half, much better second half.  Will someone get him to practice his kicking though?  Just tell him he's got to spend an hour after training just kicking the ball at a target or something.

Even ignoring the goal, I thought Furlong was our motm today.

I really don't think he's better than Wallace.  Even today Wallace hit the post, held the ball up and was available all game.  BTA is anonymous and just runs around.  And if you play BTA, then Wallace will be wide right and Fellows not guaranteed a start.

I'd take a combination of Wallace + Fellows, than BTA + Wallace.

The chance Weimann had at the end - Wallace would have scored that, or at least got clean through to take a shot at goal.  Weimann bottled it because he knows he doesn't have the legs.

Pretty happy with that. We weren't at our best and their goal was awful from our point of view, but a good point away against a decent team. Big game Friday now.

I don't agree BTA is anonymous, in fact most of his detractors say he should have had better technique etc in the moment (which i do agree with half the time).  Players who are there but not refined are not anonymous to me. I save that for Reach who is generally a nothing player. Saying that he had me off the edge of my seat today for the first time when he hit the post!

I agree Weimann is nearly spent. BRistol fans, who have a lot of love for him, told us he was. Still he got 2 goals for us so far i think which is 2 more than i expected.

Credit were due thought Chalo & Reach were superb coming on, never seen Chalo play so many accurate forward balls!

Also nice to they learnt about conceding break away goal was that Swift who covered at the end?

Overall decent point another day could've won it

Agreed. Not sure if he was trying to lob the keeper, if its in his skillset. A top striker would have taken the ball up to the keeper and shot from there or dribbled around the keeper.

I like BTA as an impact sub. It's where he's excelled best ever since we signed him, unfortunately our other 2 strikers have been permanently injured. His pace and pressing causes chaos against tired legs, that Weimann chance today the defender wouldn't have caught him. Issue is when he starts games and we need someone to hold the ball up and get us into the game, Wallace is probably a better option.

Yep, BTA is the 30 minute sub we need. Not the 90 minute starter we have to choose.

Happy with the point. 3 points against Coventry and it’s a very good point haul from a difficult Feb (and march 1st!)
