Lai/Lim, same shoote different day.
Carlos certainly seems to relish in challenging/basket case scenarios. Perhaps he was bored here....he ain't now, that's for sure.

If it lies within our ranks id be concerned as looking at Myhill, who was bad enough as a player for us, and Brunt on the bench, I had no inspiration whatsoever let alone the players

I think the poster was referring to those on here who believe they can do better than CC.

I don't get some of the petty to-ing and fro-ing going on between posters.

At the end of the day regardless of whether you were a fan or not of the manager, he chose to leave so a new man would be required anyway.

He's not been sacked, he's not been forced out, he chose to go back to his homeland and his club which is something anyone would find hard to turn down.

Whether he stays there for 6 months or 6 years there was no way he would turn it down.

Can we start acting like adults on here and cut the childish stuff out, you are all supposed to be adults after all are you not??

Very debatable in my case to be fair  ;D .

Last time this exact thing happened to us was when fat Ron did a legger chasing the peso.

If I remember correctly, after getting the boot quite quickly he was cross and had to sue Jesus for his pay-off.

...

Nestor could have made it impossible for him to stay; there's more than one way to get rid of someone who won't fit, especially if he was interfering in areas that Corberan was used to having complete control.  So it's a new regime now.

How has Nestor forced him out ?

He chose to leave, the fee was paid, we couldn't keep him if we wanted to, he wanted to leave the club he said he loves and he chose too.

I don't see the issue?

Carlos never had complete control at the Albion. He was 'part of a structure' along with Ron Gourlay, Pearce and a number of others with a 'wealth of football experience' who were (eventually) going to be recruited to the board long before Bilkul came along.

I agree, there does seem to have been some friction between Nestor & CC.
Wouldn't be at all surprised if a conversation along the lines of "we've had an enquiry from Valencia which you might want to follow up" took place.

If it was easy, it wouldn't be Albion

So now its moved from the fans are to blame to Nestor is to blame for Corberan going back to his home town club, probably the job of his dreams?

Why does there have to be a conspiracy? Can people not accept they wanted him and he wanted to go regardless?

If he didn't want to go then he had a contract here and would be sitting in the cold instead of the sun.

He did love our club. I fully believe that. Anyone who listened to the recent lengthy interview on WM would be sure of that. However, an offer came that he couldn't refuse.

Well the knockers have now seen their dream fulfilled and CC has left the building.

Wonder how long it will take before the new guy ( whoever it is) is rubbished on a regular basis for not winning every game with a mediocre squad.

Ok I'll shut up.  All the best in your new job Carlos.  It's 17 degrees C in Valencia and sunny.

I don't think anyone seriously wanted him out other than a small minority so your post is exaggerated. At the same time, constructive criticism of managers is fair. Most will agree he was very good at this level but also made a few errors this season. Nonetheless it will be hard to replace him. Honestly though, we have never been a negative fan base and always back managers and support them fairly.

And how long before we get the new bloke compared to Corberan just like we did when Bilic left and Ismael left etc etc.

New chapter starts soon when the new bloke comes in, the past is the past. Whoever the new bloke is lets hope he gets a fresh start and is allowed to make or break without the Carlos "fans" waiting for him to fail and the Corberan "doubters" praising him left, right and centre.

We really ought to wait for an appointment to be made before taking pronouns for granted. The lack of modernity and social enlightenment on here is breathtaking at times. Mods and admin' clearly aren't what 'they' used to be  :D .

That's what I mean and I don't have any problems with it. I genuinely wish him the best but I don't get the viewpoint where we could do anything to keep him or mysterious forces pushed him out
