I'd love him to come through and be 3rd/4th choice next season. But at the age of 21 he hasn't got a single game for us under his belt and he can score goals, so is the rest of his game just pure rubbish?I hope he gets the chance to play for us at some point, if he's honestly good enough.
If they are good enough Pulis will play them. Didn't he play Shotton at Stoke?
The one thing that may hold him back in England is he doesn't have a stand-out physical property: he's not rapid quick, he's not tall and strong, or got a brilliant leap (from what I've seen). He seems to be quite all-rounded in that sense, but I'm not sure it will help him because of how the English game (and TP especially) favours physicality over skill. That said, he offers something different to all our current strikers so if we were to keep him and integrate him into the first team I think he'd chip in with a few goals.
I used to play football with him years ago. His dad is also a very nice guy which perhaps contributes somewhat to the 'difference' referred to in the title.
Unfortunately while it's great to see them banging goals in and contributing at youth level the chance of them breaking through under managers like pulis are near on zilch.
Managers like Pulis?Apparently he's been offered to a lot of clubs on a domestic loan but after watching him none have shown any interest. As good as we think he is there must be something missing from his game that puts other managers off aswell.
After attending most reserve games and Birmingham senior cup games last season, I think it's fair to say he'll never make it for the Albion. He's good at lower league levels but so was o'neil, Alex Jones, Sam Manton. They all bosses the reserves but league 1 is their limit. We all love a young home product but Nabi ain't that. Playing in the Indian league on loan sums it up really.
