Jason Koumas was our star player when I first started supporting the Albion so he will always be remembered fondly by me.

Shame for all the problems but on his day he was a step above anyone else we had in that period of time, whenever he was on the ball you expected something to happen.

Good luck for the future whatever you choose to do Jason

So he puts the club up for sale at the end of the season and goes on holiday?
Lot's of commitment there.

In the modern world it does not matter where you are, you can still work.

I used to be a STH until I moved away a few years ago. I have now moved back & was considering applying for a ST again. This however has probably changed my mind to definitely not.

If we had had a decent season I don't think I could complain but the club needs to show why they deserve to charge higher prices by giving us something back for our loyal support.

I have loved reading and watching all the interviews that have come out over the last few days.

Whilst I have always known that Jeff was special and I knew the key moments in his Albion career, being a relatively young fan I didn't really know about how much of a character he was on and off the pitch. I have been laughing out loud at some of the stories.
It has opened my eyes to the sadder parts too, hearing from his wife and daughters about how he was when the illness took hold of him was shocking, and has shown why The Jeff Astle Foundation is so important.

I now cannot wait for Saturday to sing my heart out for him.

Astle is the King!

Going to stick my oar in and say that a lot of people on here are completely over reacting.

Yes we had a very bad first half, but we have been unlucky in  a way, 3 goals from 3 shots including a one in a million effort from a terrible player like Zamora. How many times have we seen Albion be in an awful run of form, then get that goal which galvanises the players and all of a sudden everything the do comes off (like was the case for the QPR goals today). These things happen in football, we are still in a good position to finish the season clear off the drop.

Our previous few home games have been excellent, and I'm sure this will be a kick up the bum for the players who were on the beach in the 1st half.

I think people are being too harsh on TP who, lets be honest, is working with such an average team and clearly putting in a lot of hard work.

I know we have had some tough times recently but I have never known our fans to be so fickle, we are not the seals down the road who kick off at every bad result.

Fa Cup third round in 2003, beat Bradfrod 3-1 with a Danny Dichio Hat trick! Sat in the BRE and loved it ( I was about 11/12)

I for one (watched on stream) thought that was a cracking performance, especially coming after such a bad week.

Sess was brilliant and I think he has shown to Pulis that he can play in that formation and even do a job coming back as well as providing so much more to the team when going forward.

Thought everyone was solid, lets keep looking ahead of ourselves now and put last week behind us.

Just the papers sprouting tripe because they have nothing to run with in these quiet periods.

Adebayo Akinfenwa was at Anfield the other day - doesn't mean hes going to join Liverpool in the summer!!

I have been away for over a year and a half travelling etc, this is my first game back so needless to say I am rather excited!
Hoping berahino recovers otherwise it might just be bobby up top on his own which i don't like the sound of. Hopefully TP plays sess with him if Saido doesn't make it

valuable point but I do feel sorry for the fans that traveled all that way and paid that much money to watch that game.

I'm a Pulis fan but I know we could have been more expressive than we were today and still have been solid at the back

Loved that Bobby looks a different player now he has a couple of goals, crazy world of football ey

Thought Fletcher was class tonight, especially 2nd half when we started winning, his management of the other players around him is how we saw out that game comfortably rather than panicking.

although I still don't agree with Dawson at RB, but cant complain at the 2-0 win putting points between us and the drop zone.

Also still only 1 loss to spurs who are a very good team under TP, time to start looking ahead of us rather than behind us I think.

Lets hope that Dawson never plays at RB again, he is just too uncomfortable on the ball, so many times he had a chance to put his foot on the ball and play a pass but hoofed it out of play/straight back to burnley.

I just wish we would play Poco too, I'm not his biggest fan but its better than what we are doing at the moment!

For once I'm posting on here as I usually just like to read opinions, but thought I would stick my oar in.

I used to absolutely HATE Pulis, I thought he was an ignorant (insert word here) and that his Stoke side got by on luck, bullying and whatever other reasoning came to my head at the time. But during his time at Palace I genuinely warmed to him at a time when I was becoming disillusioned with the game with our fiasco. He had the team full of average players playing with 100% passion and pride for the club, scoring some great goals especially through wing play. Whilst Palace and Pulis were getting all the media attention for how well they were doing we were a laughing stock.

My outstanding choice would be Pulis, I'm not saying it's a guarantee that we stay up but I'm guaranteeing that we start seeing true fight and passion in the team, and that the no hopers and the players that have been taking the club for an easy ride for too long will soon be sorted right out. I'm fed up and bored of seeing the club I was once proud to support being made a mockery of! I want to be able to wear my Albion shirt in public again with pride knowing that we are once again a great club to support. In my opinion A figure like Pulis would help get us back on the straight and narrow.

I can also understand the viewpoint on the style of football that people are worried about, but right now we need results (and we haven't played good football for a while now) and I would rather see us come home with a few points and some pride than a zilch.
