West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Next Head Coach Thread

Whoever the owners have chosen, let's take this opportunity to press the big red reset button.
New owners, new head coach, a new era!
A couple of opportunities have passed while we have tried to consolidate after our only recent success of reaching 8th place in the Premier League whilst all our West Midlands rivals were looking up at us.
Let's get behind the new guy, a lot of us have been wanting something different, come on you Baggies!!!

FA cup 3rd round on a Thursday night! It used to be one of the biggest days in the football calendar!
Only about 6900 at Sheffield U v Cardiff.
Money talks today, the cup is seriously devalued never mind no replays. The top teams complaining there's too many games, play more European games and jet of on tour post/pre season!! Rant over!

Come on everybody it's the Albion we're dealing with here! We never do things the easy way!
Let's just hope our new owners get it right!

Nothing changes, we get in front, make changes, drop off the pace and hey ho concede! Is it poor decision making on or off the pitch? How many times is this going to happen? I guess we're not blessed with the greatest subs bench, but is it in the rules we have to make the same changes every game?
New innovative manager needed please!

CC getting first hand view of the skullduggery of La Liga 😃😂 to be honest coming up against the likes of Ancelotti, Bellingham, Vini Jr , Mbpape etc is a no brainer, I'd struggle to rename some of the Preston players😁
Modric scores 1-1

Re Williams, from what I can make out Swans fans not too fussed about him either way which doesn't say much! A no from me!

I have a little sympathy really for Cole. Yes we can debate whether or not he's good enough, and yes he missed that chance against Bristol (not the first one to miss an easy chance TBF) but when he comes on as 4th sub we've already been weakened in an attacking sense by the previous 3 Subs and we're usually forced backwards. I'd like him to be given a chance up front with Maja to see if he can offer anything to the team.

Gift wrapping the goal for them, in addition to all the changes has changed the whole concept of the game! If they hadn't scored we should of seen it out with proper game management! You can see the panic and anxiety at the back now!

Sloppy tippy tappy, we've let them back into this, funny how it's when we make changes! Let's see what happens now with this new set of changes!

I can understand us taking our foot off the gas being 3up not that I think it's acceptable, but this tippy tapping about at the back gives me palpitations!

Carlos stopped the rot post Bruce, but without doubt the new man will have a lot to do to continue the rebuild! For me the quality isn't deep enough, a tough job awaits! Someone new I hope ex players please don't apply!

Have we lost by 2 clear goals yet this season?

Anyone who plays at pace puts us under pressure, we are too pedestrian! These are a lower/mid table team who know their limits but putting us to shame in terms of effort!

Please no ex manager or ex player! Let's start afresh, we have new owners so hopefully they'll have new ideas. Tbh the only one who probably fits the bill is Robins as far as finance is concerned! Tudor or anyone else we've not really heard of or considered as fans makes it interesting!

FA Cup 3rd round draw this evening, we are ball 42.
Who do we want to draw (see what I did there ;D)
Seriously, will we take it seriously or play the second string.
What do we all think, personally with the way things appear this season, perhaps a cup run could be a good thing, or do we disregard it as has been the theme in recent years!

Two 90 mins games in a week and professional athletes are tired!

A lot of huff and puff, probably a fair result based on the quality of chances for both sides!
Lacking a bit of quality and confidence, not sure about the wholesale changes all the time, felt any chance of winning disappeared when the first set of changes was made!

So slow at getting it in the box! Wallace is shot and Dobbin just hasn't got it for me! I know there are games coming up but why take off our goal threats! If they can't play 3 games in a week how'd they get on working a 40hr week!

They nearly scored from our throw, why furlong didn't throw it long I don't know, great tackle from heggam signing of the season despite his own goal which was unfortunate!

Does Palmer claim the assist after that atrocious kick out for their 2nd?
2-2, but I have to say Norwich seem to have had the best chances since I turned on!
It's entertaining if lacking in great quality!
Unlucky Grant, but at least he's getting some shots off!
