Apologies if this has been asked before, or if it is a bit of a newb question.
But it is my dad's 70th this weekend and I am looking to buy him matchday tickets as a present.
How easy is it to do without being a 'member' or 'season ticket holder'?

I am asusming that you can't just rock up to the ground on the day and pay to get in.
It's been a while since we attended a game but I imagine the ease of getting tickets is also dependant on who they are playing.....
The last games we attended in recent years were all away, Leeds, Bolton, etc.

My experience of all this with a Leeds Utd mate, is that they tend to give first dibs to holders and members and then the general public.

So if I pick a fixturre, what are my chances ....
