The prices for season tickets are good but I do have an issue about buying them so early. My biggest gripe, though, is the number of matches that we have to miss because of games being rescheduled for effing Sky and BT. It wouldn’t be so bad if any team was moved no more than once to a home Friday or Monday night. Even a late Saturday kick off can be a pain if one has other things arranged for that Saturday night. I am so fed up of all this moved for TV nonsense that I am seriously considering not renewing at all. We come quite a long distance to matches and the night matches are particularly awkward to get to. We, the fans, are being taken for granted by the EFL and the clubs, it’s about time a stand was taken against the TV companies, although I doubt anything will be done because, as always, money talks and we count for very little.
I have been going to watch my local non-league team more lately and it is a good afternoon out. Cheap admission, good beer and I’m home 15 minutes after the full time whistle. The football is not bad, either.
