There is an article on the strip and our game with Blues in August 1972 at

Judge for yourself on how it looked back then at

General Football & Sports / Blues new away strip

Blues have revealed their new away strip and it is the iconic yellow, red and black strip from 1972. I remember seeing it under the floodlights at the Hawthorns in August 1972 and thinking how great it looked. The game featuried three Latchford brothers and Bobby Hope playing for Blues. Blues got a late equaliser in a 2-2 draw.

"Prices for category B games are £25 adults (Birmingham Road and Smethwick End) and £27 for adults in the West Stand Wings/East Stand."

So what is the Cat B match day price for the middle (non-wing) blocks of the West Stand (Blocks D1, D2, C3, C4 and C5)?

I was in the kop at Anfield when we lost 2 - 1 in 1979 (Fairclough.....supersub)! It was horrible. I reckon there may have been quite a few baggies in there that day.

Absolutely thousands of albion up the other end, don't know how many. It was the last time we were top of the league I think (Div 1).

I was in the Kop too that day. Seems like there were quite a few of us. We all kept quiet though!

Can anyone remember the following.

When Albion played their last Div 1 game before relegation in April 1973 (lost 3-2) which end were the Albion fans in?

Same question for our first game back at St Andrews in Sept 76 (won 1-0). Which end were we in this game?

Must be some potential for games to be moved due to European competition too.

Liverpool away will be on Sunday 13 December.

Other possible moves (depending on how far West Ham progress and if Man Utd lose CL play off and end up in Europa) are Man Utd away on 7 Nov and West Ham away on 28 Nov.

Chris Hargreaves, signed by Buckley, made 2 sub appearances in 1995.

Now manager of Torquay, saw him in my local Sainsburys two weeks ago!

Strange that there has been nothing about him on the club website. Albion usually very good about acknowledging the passing of former players.

Remember him scoring a 25 yarder against Arsenal at Highbury in March 1982. Shame he couldn't repeat it in the semi final on the same ground a few weeks later.

Remember Foy in the same fixture in 2002 when he gave them a free kick for a supposed back pass

I can't have the criticism of Yac. He was easily our best performer yesterday and did not in any universe deserve to be sent off.

It was a sickening moment in in a sickening game. I am so tired of referees reacting to ridiculous behaviour by "injured" players and petulant over hyped managers.

Pulis in an interview on Tom Ross's Goalzone says the ref reacted to Tim Sherwood jumping around on the touch line, which is clear to see on the footage. Of course after the game swarmy Tim acts as if it never happened and says the sending off was harsh.

Looking at the highlights, see Hutton joined in the goading of the Albion fans with a clenched fist after the first goal.

Liverpool game on April 25 will move to Sunday if they get to Europa quarter final.

So Liverpool game definitely on the Saturday, where it will be on Setanta Sports in Ireland.

The big news in this announcement is that JP has increased his shareholding to 88.8% (he only had 77.3% after the tender offer ended last July, so somebody/bodies has recently him a substantial number of shares).

As a result he is now within touching distance of the magic 90% threshold needed to be able to compulsorily purchase the remaining shares.
