I do think that there are plenty on here that should consider what supporter actually means. I don’t think it means we need to be unconditionally happy clappy about the team - but there is bugger all supportive of the team on these boards. The 11 who go out to play don’t pick themselves and we should be much more supportive than the perpetually negative rants on here.
Today was our best 90 mins of the season yet the overriding feeling in here is negativity and a desire to slag off individuals

The game is on Sky Box Office. Bloody annoying that Albion fans who pay for Sky Sports have to shell out another £15? To see it. This is not the first time this has happened recently. Is it because we have many fans in China (because of Lai) who don’t flinch at having to pay such a figure?

if it was not on box office no one would see it....the sky and or BT subscription buys a certain number of games. this one would would not be one of them. we can argue about the price - but why do we think we entitled to watch games for free

taking a break of my own accord - whole sense of site is a bit toxic. and to be fair im not sure the sanctimonious utterings from the mods are particualarly helpful. there is censorship of posts from some - but not from their cronies.

Those are just the ones that we absolutely should have done better in

Then there’s swapping/subbing fullbacks almost every match at the start of the season
Desperately needing width at Barnsley away...leaving Phillips AND Edwards on the bench and playing Sawyers,Krov AND Barry there during the game
HRK scores winner vs Boro away..then dropped
Krov scores vs Barnsley away...then dropped
Robinson...played wide every time he’s been on the pitch....pressure last match of the season, starts him through the middle

no. please dont go on. Just support your team - who did well to get promoted to a league wher we know we are going to find it tough. we may or may not survive but we dont have millions to urine away like the Vile who are not going to be much better than us, Are we going to be great? No - will we stay up? possibly not. Will we give it everthing? yes we will. Will all the negative pooh posted on here help? no it blooming well wont.
lets just get behind whoever wears the stripes - they do not pick themselves and they deserve our uncondtional support, ( that does not mean they are above critisism - but ax a collective we have to get behind them - albeit virtually

You are unbelievable in your hatred towards Gibbs. Where does this hatred come from!? As he done something to you? I don't like Johnstone or Phillips but i have my say and move on you just can't leave it  and you are getting boring now. I hope when Gibbs comes back he as a blinder and shoves your hatred down your throat

Gibbs was very silly yesterday - however he was excellent in first half yesterday - him getting forward improved the effectiveness of Grady immensely. he has his haters on here along with Johnstone and Livermore but mostly its unjustified - just the need of fans to have a scapegoat

Well it was far better than last week. We looked far better going forward and created a fair few chances. Periera and diangana both look up to the level and them both scoring takes pressure off both early doors. If it had stayed 11 v 11 we were very much in game and could have stole something.

The sending off was beyond stupid. And it put the game beyond us. However even before that and with marked improvements we still have a lot of work to do.

The 3 at the back with wing backs doesnt work and we need to bin it off. Even bringing hegazi and or Ivanovic in and it's still going to look chaotic. Gibbs sending off might force billic to go back to 433. 

Hopefully the cup game gives us something to be happy about.

i think that refelects where my thoughts are after yesterday. It was a big step up on last week.   Should have gone to 433 at   1-0 with field replacing furlong.
im very worried Sawyers is way off influencing a game at this level.
on evidence of yesterday -
Johnstone was ok - with obvious deficiences
we cannot defend a simple all into the box - nor can we stop crosses
oshea will be fine
livermore was good yesterday despite the nat sayers on here
robinson did a pretty good job
grady had a great game
MP will have moments of brilliance - makes a few too many poor decisions in posession to be really grat at this level. Still a great player for us.
Philips as much use as a trafic cone
Field looked both busy and effective
overall it was ok - an enjoyable game to which we contributed significantly.
we have to be realisstic - this is an unforgiving league - we pitted sawyers and livermore against an 120 million pond midfiekd yesterday. effectively we have spent 1 million so far on players not here last year - and he not in the team.
Its clear the club do not think staying up is the be all and end all - however we still have a chance of staying up - the likes of the Vile are not light years ahead of us. But we do need to stick together and not turn on the team and certainly not on individuals as that going to help anyone.

Sadly RS has been poor both in last ten games of last season and total liability this season. No one wants him to do well more than me a d he might be hampered by being asked to do a role that does not suit him. That being said he should not be in the first xi either in 353 or 433 0r 4231. We have better options already -or at least options worth trying that cannot be worse

Bartley - not good enough.
Furlong - poor
Livermore - needs replacing, Gallagher or Field in for his next game.
Sawyers - poor.
Gibbs - disgrace

Only Diangana and periera can come out of that game with any credit. This squad is a championship squad and bringing in 1-2 more won’t change that.

Lai needs to sell up to someone who actually wants to back the club.

I don't think Sawyers was too bad today. One particularly nice pass in the second half to set up the Robinson chance which he passed.

The defence clearly at fault today

I seem to be getting the impression from the club that getting promotion was just a financial achievement to get money into the club or should I say the owners back pocket !!

I don't think the club ever had any intention of trying to compete in the premier league are are expecting to be relegated. They will then have the premiership money from this season and 2 seasons of parachute payments and they wouldn't have had to pay out big money on transfers. My point can be proven by the lack of activity in the transfer market.

The end of last season it was so evident that we were lacking strikers. in fact is was so bad it was embarrassing.  If I was at the club that would have been number 1 priority and I would have at least got one half decent striker in by now.

If this is the case I don't think Bilic will put up with that attitude for long !

So you would have got at least one decent striker in by now would you! Is this using your magic wand or rubbing your magic lamp. This is not football manager!
