Comfortably on top and should be more than 1 ahead but then again it's L1 opposition.

Isn’t it interesting to see that Corberan seems to be having faith in Kipre and Mowatt. I believe both can be excellent under the right coaching and Corberan is exactly that. Like 2 new signings for him.

Either that or he’s having as good a look at them as he can.

At this point he doesn't have much choice! Neither have great value as both in last 12 months of deals so hardly worth selling them i'd guess.

On the bench according to the line ups, hasn't he been dealing a with a personal issue? probably not as fit as the others

Molumby and Sarmiento not fit enough apparently - Molumby still recovering from his injury at the end of last season, Sarmiento behind the others in terms or preparation.

Unless they both make big strides forward this week, I'd expect this to be the team next weekend.

My lad's at the game. He reckons the partnership of Kipre and Ajayi is a car crash waiting to happen with Kipre being too casual and Ajayi constantly in Kipre's ear.

Also thinks we're messing about at the back too much like we did under Darren Moore and Graeme Jones. I'm not watching the game personally so could you confirm or deny those points please Gaz?

We are definitely playing it out from the back a lot like the DM/GJ days. Kipre casual but skinning players for fun, whether he should be doing that or not is a matter of opinion :D

I know it’s only preseason but neither team will be at it 100%. I would say the fact that we have struggled defensively against teams points to our weaknesses for the season to come. A draw at a side like Bolton who may well be towards the top of League 1 suggests we’ll be towards the bottom of the Championship. Palmer and O’Shea are big losses in defence.

Ajayi can't read the game defensively. Ask him to defend the penalty area on the ground and he is all over the place.

Individually and collectively the defence is poor. Each individual has proven repeatedly they are poor defenders
We’ve needed new full backs for 3 years, Bartley we all know will play well for 4 games then have a mare, Ajayi is like Bambi on ice and Pieters legs went towards the end of last season
Kipre is the only one I will wait to give judgement on when he’s had a run in the team
