Not necessarily. We're in the women's equivalent of League 1, along with clubs such as Fylde, Brighouse Town and Loughborough Lightning, as well as Wolves, Derby, Forest, Stoke and Middlesbrough. The women's Championship features Lewes, Durham and London City Lionesses, so I don't think you can make too many comparisons between women's clubs and their men's professional equivalents with regard to the level the former play at.
I think it's more a question of where well-run women's clubs have been set up, which could be anywhere really and quite a lot aren't affiliated with men's professional clubs at all, including some which appear that they would be at first glance, such as Fulham LFC, Sheffield FC and Coventry Utd.
