I’d have possibly kept Sawyers even as part of the squad he makes it stronger and does offer something if played correctly

Agree with that - I would have like to have seen him stay, as I do believe that there is a player there, certainly at Championship level.

If he ever fills out then I believe that Teixeira could be the one that got away but I agree that he just isnt there physically at the moment which is a shame.

No point having a sub on £20k p/w though which I assume is the thought process of the club.

Sawyers has today signed a two year deal with Cardiff City. He is the Bluebirds 10th signing of the summer
