Job done. Onto the real challenges now.

No bad performances, steady, professional and just what was needed.

EDIT -  Grady and Fellows excellent for me.

You can't always tell watching a screen  compared to being there but Grady MotM I lost count of the times he lost the ball in midfield and put us on the defensive but this is a good day now the real work begins.
Congrats to the team and manager on making the play offs excellent.

Very professional job done today. Bit nervous for the first 10/15 mins but after that in almost total control. Grady MoM but nobody had anything less than a decent game .
Could have had a number of goals in the first 20 mins after half time .

The kind of performance I had hoped for but didn't expect. Everyone played well.
Good to see us play with patience in the first half.
BTA busy all game but should have scored.
Fellows and Johnston both caused problems and Mowatt and Yokuslu dominated in the centre of the park.
Now we need the same kind of performance next Sunday.

I even liked Townsend today. I'll leave that there.

Much better today. I neither rate or hate him but he has been diabolical lately overall.

He played well but I'd give it to Furlong. Made two goals and scored another and, overall, superb in both boxes.

Thought we were completly in control today, even though we missed some good chances. Carlos has done a fantastic job, but I bet he is not satisfied yet. Has some crucial team and tactical decisions to make before the Southampton games. I think he will look to individuals' current form and who is sharpest in training.  Difficult one is No.9. BTA will chase them every minute, but a more clinical finisher may be better, in which case Wallace should get the nod.

Just raising my first pint to the lads. Comfortable win when we needed it. Does anyone know if Johnston is able to continue with us now that the normal season is over?

Bartley was excellent today, a real captains performance and for me, the 1st name on the teamsheet.

Well done today. Comfortable win. I thought all 3 players behind Asante were excellent and a special mention for Furlong who was involved in all 3 goals.
An excellent achievement to reach play offs. Anything else is a bonus now. I do like a good bonus though ;)

Feels like a free hit really, if we can take any sort of lead to Soton, who knows

Great win today.

All the players had a good game, but it was nice to see Grady getting so involved and not losing the ball as often has he sometimes does. I think we could relax a lot more when the second goal was scored, but looking back it was a controlled and professional display.

Well done to the fans for playing their part aswell.

Followed by Cedric Kipre, Alex Palmer and Mikey Johnson.

Considering we were in 5th place in the league when Mikey Johnson joined us, it would be criminal if a clause preventing his leaving if we made the playoffs wasn’t included but, we are talking the Albion here….

A decent overall performance with a balanced team
We didn’t reach the heights of the Leicester performance and oh how we need a natural number nine
One change for me would be a place on the bench for weiman who is a goal poacher in case we are chasing a goal at some point over the game’s against the saints
Fingers crossed for a clean bill of health and if we play decent we have a chance but a tough ask against the best team I have seen us play this season

Great day! Nerves were swept away after the first 10 mins thought we started brightly and never let up. Furlong great game & I thought BTA was terrific too yeah he missed two sitters but his general hold up play was much better too & his usual work rate to had their number 6 on toast

But my god Preston were shocking I didn't remember a single attempt!

Agree. Furlong has had a really good season, he also got an assist with his throw-in.

Regarding Diangana I think it helps having Fellows/Johnstone on the wings which give him more time and space, a bit like Phillips and Pereira did under Bilic so it allows him to play more.

I know Dwight Gayle did when we played in the playoffs whilst he was on loan, so presume it’ll be a similar situation
