Any one seen a clip anywhere of lionheart's most recent ducking out of a challenge?

Perhaps there is a compilation somewhere as I seem to remember quite a few of them

Its a replica of the kit worn by the original team formed in 1882 that eventually became QPR. Its their 140th anniversary.

And finally, the last match of the month against Swansea City at The Hawthorns will be played on Monday, February 28 (ko 8pm) instead of Saturday, February 26 (ko 3pm).

Had this one added to my stile card but the dreaded rona has had me ensnared all week so going to give it a miss in order to not infect the massed Baggies who would have been surrounding me in the Smethwick

Well well well, big Val has been listening to me then eh?
352 is my preferred set up, as ive said before it's an attacking and defensive set up, I'd love him to give it a try.
My view is that the plethora of red cards we seem able to accumulate are in the main due to our midfield constantly being swamped by the opposition midfielders and the consequent need for extreme actions to try and recover the ball by two tired, in the later stages of a game, and ageing midfielders
A flexible 352 could well be an answer

What was going on in the East/Rainbow stand at the end there? Fighting amongst ourselves?
Cardiff openly giving it racist chants/songs
Spent the game waiting for a football match to break out to discuss here but alas it wasn't to be

I just wish he was a bit braver and had more 'bottle' so tired of seeing him pull out of challenges or making sure he arrives at a potential challenge too late.

This guy has https://twitter.com/AndyfromNewHamp and he is a big Baggie fan (also does a Baggie podcast) and is now based in the US
Oh and Andy also tells me his name is pronounced Deekay so once he's been signed bound to become DK on here!  ;)

West Bromwich Albion FC / Corners and free kicks
« on: December 19, 2021, 08:25:26 AM »
A simple question to the club
"How have we gone from being one of the more potent and feared teams when it comes to the taking of corners and free kicks to what is, and has been for months now, on view at games and is utter garbage?"
Why is Furlong taking the majority of them? And then overhitting them?
There is a corner/free kick specialist, first name of Chris, on the coaching staff but obviously not being used or listened to
Are they protecting Mowat's recent injury in some way? Early doors he seemed to be pretty good at taking 'em
Yours sincerely a frustrated Baggie!

He should hook Hugil but it will be Diangana for Robinson for a full house!

Brighton have been handed the usual away allocation.

I guess this means the whole of the Smethwick  :'(

Whoops looks like selective reading/amnesia on my part

Season ticket holders, including those in the Smethwick End, will have until 12 noon on Thursday, December 30 to purchase their existing seat.

I thought it was hilarious that at around 55 minutes all the subs jumped up and headed down the side of the pitch in front of the Brummie as if to say 'try me Val'
Even better was he didn't make his usual 60 min substitutions so they all stayed out there just in case for pretty much the whole of the second half. Oh, and their joy in being there to help celebrate to goal too
My real point here is that his regimented adherence to like for like subs on 60 mins isn't really called for in every circumstance
Good win and a well played to everyone on the pitch (and the subs!  :P)

It goes from bad to worse  :o Remember the Metro trams are already cancelled!

West Midlands Railway services to and from The Hawthorns on Saturday will be subject to cancellations owing to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on driver and operational staff resource.

Trains in operation will run with fewer carriages than usual.

Supporters attending the game are advised to avoid the service if possible.

yes the corner he was obviously trying to stick one in the mix and he got it wrong.
He's not the only one though, as a general rule of thumb our corners have been carp for some weeks now, no matter who takes them, and at times there seems to be a reluctance to be the 'chosen one' from the on field corner taking rotation that seems to happen
