I think he did that before he joined us! Has had a good career but he was clearly struggling when he was with us.

His debut was promising but flatlined almost instantly

Just watching the lengthy Berahino interview from Youtube from around a month ago.

Says he went from £850 a week as a youth player to 15k a week on his first proper WBA contract as a senior. Must be nice!

Dare say that'll make essential viewing for his baby mommas and the Child Maintenance Service.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.

CSA are able to see what the dads earning, no doubt about that.

His baby moms definitely equally disappointed how his career panned out  ;D

70 minute interview for those interested but the individual topics are time marked so you can skip what you are not interested in.

Thanks Gaz - listened to a quick 5 minutes about the Spurs transfer debacle. He actually sounds a lot more mature nowadays, the little I listened to was quite candid, honest and interesting. Confirmed how Spurs offer was awful for Albion and didnt allow us to replace him (£1.5m up front with the rest in add ons) and how everyone knew Levy and Peace were the two most difficult negotiators in English football. Also confirms the impression you get of Peace - not a great people person, being a bit blunt and rude when his family met with the club, but then how his own response with the tweet was childish and immature.

I'll give it a longer listen when i get a chance.

He comes across as not too bad a bloke for me actually after watching most of it. The Tottenham saga aside, which in his defence he says he doesn't blame Peace for after knowing the full facts about £1.5m up front, he seems like a fairly reasonable bloke.

Shame really because everyone lost out over it and what a waste of talent to boot.

The bit about dodgy football agents was interesting too. Death threats and all sorts going on.

Dwight Gayle signed for Hibernian.

Would say he should tear that league up- even at 34 years old.

However his Stoke record was 45 games 3 goals. Not sure what happened there.

Oddly similar record to Saido at Stoke as well (51 games 3 goals).

According to wiki Stoke played him as an AM rather than a forward because his pace had gone

Cheers for that BagAlbion.

Says a lot about their scouting network if they failed to note that before signing him!

was thinking over the weekend...we have been privileged to have some amazing loanees here...look how well they did since spending time with us:

Conner gallagher
Lukaku
Harvey barnes

+ of course the one Arsenal loaned us that has been so successful in germany - forget his name (as did Pulis when he was here)

Serge Gnabry.

Pulis took a lot of stick for not playing him but he was justified as Gnabry was overweight and uninterested which is why Wenger sent him out on loan and then released him. Being released by them was the best thing that happened to his career as it gave him the big kick up the backside he needed.

Think he has 4 goals in 2 or 3 games so far. I saw a thumping header and the French commentators going mad on Twitter. "GRANDE Andy Tre Englais" or words to that effect

Even at his age he's still too good for that league I think.

BBC article rubbing it in he has "eye for the spectacular goal" 3 years we never got ours...

We never got one did we? Waste of money

Wow there is a name! And he was still playing?  :o

Was just randomly thinking of Ishmael Miller the other day & how he finally turned the corner in the prem before that horrific injury and just wasn't the same again. Anyone know what he is up to nowadays?
