Conor Gallagher reportedly going to Athletico Madrid for £33m. We have definitely played our part in improving such players. Harvey Barnes and Tosin being 2 other recent examples. Pity we as the loanee club couldn't impose a sell on premium.

Barnes, yes.

Tosin, I don't remember thinking he was much good, although didn't he play right back a lot? Got replaced by Mason Holgate in January if I'm getting my seasons correct?

We played a major part in Lukaku's development too, in fact, IMHO he has never played/looked better than when he was with us .

I mentioned Tosin because he's got a move to Chelsea.

I thought Tosin was a decent player but never given a chance to play in his best position or by most of the fans.

Just noticed Hegazi has signed for Neom in Saudi, which is the new city project. He will play alongside fellow Baggie Diagne.

Whilst I never bought into the hyperbole about him, to say he only had one decent game is simply not true, he had a few really good games and was mostly adequate and rarely poor.

TGH is champo level all-day long. Agree with Hull comments. Rarely poor for us but felt like it was focused on that time he was.

Never really got a run, which is what a real chance amounts too.

According to wikipedia he played 60 games for us how is that not a proper run out? And if he was championship level why would BC happily let him go?

Academy players are severely overrated he's gone the way of Edwards, Leko, Harper etc. TF is probably the only one that so far is justifying the hype.

Not sure how many of those games he actually started and how many were 10 minute sub appearances but when he did get a run he was no worse than others and was a much better option than Chalobah and to be honest Molumby.

More than capable at Championship level.

TGH has dropped down to league 1 in the same way Paul Mullin "dropped down to the conference" when he joined Wrexham.

Blues are signing Championship players. It isn't like joining Wycombe or Peterborough.

I think he did that before he joined us! Has had a good career but he was clearly struggling when he was with us.
