Wtf are the FA doing appointing this bloke even for 3 games!
Clueless, forget experiments, we want to win every match with the best team possible, no striker!
Foden, arguably the best left footed midfielder in Europe whats he been told to do?
Did we have any shots on goal until we scored?
I could go on but dont let Carsley back into the under 21's lets have a clear out and start again please, weve got the players just need a top coach, sick to watch that rubbish

Dubious claim.  He's had plenty of chance to show what he can do for England and not succeeded.  I rate Palmer as a much better left footer but as a team England do not need both.  I'd swap him for a ball winning midfielder alongside Rice.
As I said earlier, he looks good when playing amongst the world class footballers of Manchester City but when he has to perform with home grown players he has not been effective.

Mainoo for Saka , Kane for Foden today then players can play in their club positions instead of being shoe horned into formations and positions they’ve never played.
Foden vPalmer if you’re only picking one should be form related & at the moment Palmer is probably ahead

“I am still on the path to that”.

So we all accept that football is now a business that is based upon getting the world watching the adverts and seeing the marketing in the ground via the telebox, I myself watched the first goal and then took the dogs for a walk, on my return still at 0-1 whatsapped my mate who had apparently nodded off, all this to say whoever is in the marketing department of " multinational corporation advertising on footy" can you please threaten to withdraw unless entertainment resumes as what's being offered up is boring beyond belief.

Goals make the game entertaining. Why not an extra point for each goal a team scores?

But a 5-0 dubbing can be very boring (for the neutral and the losing team!).

If you were going that way, I'd say a bonus point for scoring two goals would be the way to go.

But also, and this applies for Albion, if people don't want the incumbent, what kind of style of football (with examples) do people want?

Modify..
A point for each goal in a won game, it would stop unscrupulous teams playing for 5-5 draw.

Because 6-0 can’t be boring? 😂

Seriously you do have a point, but I’d argue that the majority of games with goals in beat a 0-0 on excitement.
However,I am getting a bit fed up of constant changes to how the game is played and how the suits dictate the policies
I’d quite like 11 v 11 with people on the pitch because they want to be there and are in form would be a start .

Anyway, back to England!
Carsley, clueless, i dont care if he won the u21's wc
He is not a top manager for the full England team, playing sithout a striker and expecting the midfielders to step up to the scoring is madness to me
But he doesn't ming taking English pay does he?
I dont want him near any of Englands teams, disgraceful individual

He was born in Birmingham.  Why should he not take English pay?   A lot of people wanting a Senor Guardiola to be next England manager - presumably he'll do it for free.

Carsley has experimented to answer the question asked by a lot of pundits:  how can you fit Palmer (didn't play well against the Finns), Foden, Belligham and Saka in an international team.  He's demonstrated the answer: you can't.  You have a proper midfield which has both defensive and well as attacking midfielders.

So exciting that the architecture in Helsinki got more exposure and discussion from the commentators then the ridiculous bore-fest we were watching.
Bellingham was his usual self, Kane was half a mile behind everyone else. The defence would have been destroyed by any decent team.
Arnold should never be put in an England shirt again.
They are all going through the motions, without their World Class team mates around them they just pass sideways and try and not screw up so they can be picked again. Carsley was right to drop Pickford, he is a moron, the only thing he has gotten right so far.
We probably got the best selection of talent available bar none and all we have done over the last decade by sticking with that useless , gutless Southgate is squander it. Hope Man Utd choose him to replace Ten Hag, that will be the end of them.

Hey NJS, he's got
No right to experiment mate, were talking the full England team here.
How can you not play a striker?
So what if he was born in Birmingham makes it worse for me
Get rid asap

We have a plethora of attacking midfield talent, a very good first choice striker and we a number of different but talented right backs, but otherwise where is this "best selection of talent available"?

Pickford isn't world class but neither is Henderson, Pope or any other English keeper, shown by the fact that Sam Johnstone occasionally gets a call up. Stones is fine but I don't think there's a definitive partner for him, and don't get me started on left back.

Spain won a World Cup with Cesc Fabregas as their "striker", so I don't think trying a striker-less formation was a bad thing in off itself.

Guehi is more than good enough to partner Stones. Tomori still only 24 so another who could partner Stones. Left back is our biggest problem I agree .

I would like to see this new rumoured model whereby (using Guardiola) as an example Pep turns up for tournaments and has a dotted line to the set up day to day but has his team doing the scouting and taking charge of friendlies and qualifiers.

Guehi,Tosin,Konsa,Colwill,Tomori …Gomez has slipped off but …we have plenty cb’s
Left back despite not having many choices…should be a left back…not a RB show pony that can’t defend on his proper side.
Watching Arnold that first 15 minutes in Finland was embarrassing,so wildly out of position and only passing to his playground friend Jude .
I’d have stones in midfield and controversial it’d be Gallagher over Rice/Mainoo….Gomez wouldn’t be near the team .

Is that your superhero name ??

I think Gallagher gives the bite we need and will only get better working with Simeone….non of our other midfielders offer what he does .

Tuchel named boss, madness

Not really for me, he’s a better manager than any of the potential available English candidates. I couldn’t give a monkeys what nationality he is as long as he wins a trophy with England.
