Just watching Sky. Absolute horror challenge from Sibley and should have been a red.

Awful tackle, no attempt at the ball whatsoever

They certainly didn’t look like scoring but a one goal lead is always precarious.

I don’t like the walking football and we need Maja to hold up the ball, so when he goes off we struggle. Johnston has been particularly poor since he arrived; he had a chance to shoot in the box near the end and took too long, and he offers nothing tracking back.

Definitely two points dropped.

What exactly did he do? Constantly gets shrugged off the ball so lightweight, awful decision making when he has the ball and almost cost us a goal when he decided to cross the ball in our own box.

Garbage.

Constantly carried the ball ,was always a threat and had some really good play with fellows and maja ,to say he was garbage is just ridiculous

I'm sick of seeing us line up with no striker on the bench , as soon as Maja went off we collapsed at trying to hold the ball up.
Cole might not be up to it over a season but he's got to offer more than lobbing a winger up top from when Maja goes off .
This side doesn't score enough goals overall to achieve much this season.
If I was the owner I'd be asking questions why Cole was bought in.
To not have another striker in a 20 man match day squad is pathetic, not the first time we've ended up with no striker on the pitch, may aswel kept Cleary instead of loaning him out.

Yes - awful tackle. Got away with it probably because it wasn’t that high or two footed, but intent should be taken into account. Players get sent off for mistiming something; that was absolutely deliberate. Could have caused injury.

I think VAR would have upgraded it to red.

Anyone else still seething that we’ve not won that game?

I’m over it now. I don’t let West Brom ruin my days! I just have to dissect it and decompress on here.

As a club we haven’t believed in the need for 2 fit first team strikers to be involved on a regular basis for at least the last 2 seasons .

I’m usually the same but that one has stuck in the craw with just how poor a side we were up against

Dreadful. We all new that first subs on would be Wallace and Swift. When are Styles, Holgate, Cole et al going to get a look in ? Answer they aren't. Carlos day want um. He wanted the Albion version of Johnston too but we got the Celtic version by mistake.

Disappointed not to have won that. Did enough in first half and had enough opportunities to take 3 points. Ajayi was poor all game and we conceded a very poor equaliser. Need a win, and soon.

We should have peppered their goal but no one want to shoot. Faffing at the back has now transferred itself to the front.

Was always very risky paying 3m for a guy that got countered by end of season and our manager has no counter too.  Not great signs so far.

That one is more on the players than Corberan for me. We were so frustratingly sloppy at times & when it came to every big moment we made either the wrong choice or mis-placed an easy pass. Fellows not shooting, Grady not shooting, Grady not been able to play an easy ball to put Grant in 1 on 1, Wallace not playing Grant in & then his cross getting cut out, Palmer shanking his kick to give them the throw.

Jed Wallace needs some time in the stands I’d like to see Dobin come on over Jed now, he’s been bloody awful this season & shouldn’t be ahead of Dobbin, Mikey & Styles at the moment.

Grant man of the match, was superb again.

His total time on the pitch barely totals 2 games. Think it’s way too early to judge. Same with Racic who many have written off but for me was one of the better players on the pitch today.

Thing is it doesn't look remotely promising for me.

I think Racic is ok but when Swift isn't playing. Too similar

I mean I will give you that, he’s done very little when he has been on the pitch but I’m keeping the faith

It almost feels like Corberan has a master plan that revolves around Dike being fit and available but I'm purely guessing.

We always look worse after 5 changes.
We repeatedly look worse after continually making the same 5 changes ….so who’s to blame ?

Under Corberan we have nearly always been cautious when in the lead and with our defensive record, it's been fairly effective, especially at home. Like everyone else, I wanted us to go for it a little today and felt that we were only a good 10min spell away from making it two and it would have been game over.

I think my concerns are actually around our attack, this was another game where we didn't really create any big chances. That said, we looked fairly fluid today and it was as much as a lack of ruthlessness as anything else today, we always took an extra touch. Defensively we looked complacent on that long throw, Johnston didn't get in front of the lad that won the flick on and make it uncomfortable for him, we lost the first contact, didn't track the runner from the flick, it was poor.

I was concerned about Racic over Molumby pre-game but I thought he played quite well. Hard to say as it is still early and many haven't had chances but maybe the supposed great depth on paper in reality is not as good as we thought at the start of the season.

There is no depth if the man making the decisions has already decided he isn’t going to play people.
How must fellows feel when they take him
Off for someone who just cannot do it anymore …and again and again ?
Grant,Maja,Fellows,Diangana…I’m not Diangana biggest fan but those four should be enough for 2-0 3-0 against Oxford…but we sat deep and let them come on to us…

Agree with Devon in stripes…. Need to play 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 we must play 2 strikers …otherwise we ain’t going to score. This basic tactics that I used when coaching. Other teams know we don’t have a plan B. We should be able to change systems mid match depending how the opposition are playing. Personally I favoured 3-5-2 as it gave more flexibility in attack and defence…more bodies available to do both jobs. I hope Carlos reads these posts…not saying I am an elite coach by any means.
Have to stop being predictable
