Such a lazy and lethargic performance. If we don’t have the intensity then it’s always going to a long night as we have zero plan B unfortunately.

2 poor team selections in a row, 2 losses.

Racic and Swift cannot play together we all know this apart from chap who picks the team.

Swift being told to come deep to collect ball when he should be number 10 is highly illogical.

Mowatts told to drop deeper to take ball off CB's as well. We are completely overpowered in midfield.

Baffling to select Wallace over Fellows, Wallace is absolutely spent, everyone can see it.

MJ was awful when he came on.

Full backs were ok, CB's MEH, Maja not had much to help.

We've got players like McNair and Holgate who can't get a minute, McNair can't get in squad and he's a top 10 champo team defender.
All of this
We need a solid base in midfield
Either mowatt and Molumby or mowatt and diakite
Racic can play football but he and swift need to alternate in the 10 and stay in the bloody 10
Wallace is done, looked awful

My disappointment is that when it works it’s the manager, when it doesn’t it’s the players.
If youre going to get told off, get told off for doing something not for doing nothing..

Racic & Swift god awful. Both games lost because of the midfield selections.

Fellows is young he can play 2 games a week! Wallace said he's happy playing bit part so let him.

Reality has sunk in this week for sure. Must win on Saturday

They are a very good young side. Played at a much higher tempo than us and were quicker and sharper. We seemed to revert back to our slow predictable football of last season.

They were better than us defensively IMO. They found it easy to create chances, we didn’t, I don’t think they controlled the middle any more, it was fairly back and forth.

Also not sure Wallace was a bad as is being made out. It would be interesting to see his night clipped up IMO and see if it was his performance, or who he’s keeping out that people don’t like as I thought he got in behind a couple of times, got some ok balls in and got in a good position to score (and should have). Better than both Grant and Swift IMO.

A disappointing night for us. I would certainly have started Fellows and not Wallace, unless there was a factor of which we’re unaware.

Mowatt and Palmer were the only ones to emerge with much credit for me. Mikey Johnston’s one trick of “cut in from the left and shoot” isn’t working anymore - he looked more like our new Ollie Burke. And he was no better when he came on as a sub last Saturday. Corberan may have his work cut out with him.

But it was a job lot - a poor night.

And to be fair there were two teams out there, and Middlesbrough closed off service, stifled our wide men and created lots of chances. It wasn’t just about us; they played well.

Still scratching my head why Wallace starts when the best wide man in the league is on the bench.Swift produced nothing again. Molumby has to start, his energy is vital. Mowatt head and shoulders above any other Albion player tonight. MJ had a mare of a cameo.
Carlos isn't above criticism, that's 2 on the bounce he's started the wrong team.

It was a tight game, which Middlesborough edged, Swift is to inconsistent, Why didn't Fellows Start, Wallace isn't there, MJ needs to start to have his best impact, Grant wasn't great, Racic is poor, Boro cut off our threat and we lost. Lessons to be learnt the only highlight was the Wonderful tribute to Mark Townsend Beautiful rendition of The Lords My Shepherd

Boro kept it simple Don Carlos tried to over complicated it and we lost. Need a specialist left back to start for balance and need Johnstone and Fellows both to start they are arguably 2 of the best wingers in the league. Ajayi caught a few times again tonight would like to see him taken out

I sometimes feel like you that CC overcomplicates football. I wonder how well he gets his messages across to the players. I sometimes feel it’s like listening to Faulty Tower’s Manuel when I listen to his post match interviews! I find it hard to understand his analysis.

Just rubbish.
Inexcusable performance all around.
How much do we pay for a ticket and how much are they paid?

Hang their bloody heads tonight. It looked like they had never met before.

I just don't understand it.  I mean Carlos is not a dill, the players aren't dills so why do we put in a performance like that?

Thought it was a tight game, Boro had the better chances and defended better than us.
Heggem had his best game since Stoke. Positionally he was where he should be, cut out a few crosses and generally had the better of the tricky Doak.
Swift again terrible  he's good at the backward 2 yard pass to Ajayi or Bartley but gives away possession when he tries anything forward.
Bartley was poor again.
Next game we need to start Fellows, Johnston,  Molumby and Holgate with Wallace,  Swift, Racic and Bartley dropping out.

Fellows and Johnston were both very poor when they came on tonight.

Very disappointed tonight. Fair play to Boro who are the best team I’ve seen to date in this division. Cannot understand why Wallace played. He’s just not up to it, Fellows has to start unless injured. Johnston looks a shadow of his former self but maybe needs to start games to rebuild his form. It’s a long season and we will lose games. Saturday now looks very important however.
Massive credit to everyone in the stadium for the emotional minute of applause on 57 minutes.

Very, very poor.

Plus points: Mowatt was fantastic, always looking to move the ball and he was the only one who could find a pass. Palmer kept us in it with a few wonderful saves.

Negative points: Terrible performances by literally everybody else. Felt for Wallace but his finishing is nowhere near at it. Special mention to MJ, too, for arguably the worst performance by a substitute since the infamous sub appearance of Giles Barnes in the 3-3 with West Ham many years ago.

It's imperative we bounce back against a Millwall team that we never, ever beat at home...

Strange you should say that Blowee as I was thinking just the same about his messages to players during the game and at halftime. I personally find it not easy to understand his accent and what he’s actually saying and I cannot imagine him being a motivational speaker in the dressing room, in fact just the opposite.

Too pedestrian , creating nothing from central positions , Maja had the first touch of a Rhino ! Didn’t understand some of the subs as they meant we just emptied out the midfield went 424 whilst we were still level . Thought Mowatt and Grant weee the only two to emerge with much credit.

Grant is presumably in the side to either create or score goals …… he did neither tonight so I can’t personally see how he had a good game .

Wallace needs to be knocking on CC door tomorrow and telling him not to start him

Lost the little bit of pace he had. Can’t fault effort.

Needs to be Johnston and Fellows at home

I thought Boro were very good, defended well and moved the ball quickly. Contast how they move the ball out to how we do. Fast intricate passing, pass and move to receive the ball, then compare it to the slow plodding 5 yard passes with no movement from Semi and Kyle. Watching the game Saturday and last night reminded me off the Harvey Barnes show at Wednesday, when i spent half the game in stitches due to jow bad Kyle was at playing out from the back. He has improved, but not much. Our centre half pairing really does hamper how Carolos wants us to play.
