That's what I mean and I don't have any problems with it. I genuinely wish him the best but I don't get the viewpoint where we could do anything to keep him or mysterious forces pushed him out
There is no room for sentimentality in football you gotta do the best for your carrer

Gary Lineker talked how he had to leave Leicester to futher his carrer and he supports them! Darren Bent an Arsenal fan played for Spurs etc etc

I think as fans it's different as we aren't seeing from the professional perspective.

Funny you should mention that turn of phrase Gaz'. By strange coincidence a mysterious force pushed it's way out of me this morning. Didn't half make my eyes water I can tell yah  :o .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

I understand fans might be upset but the release was met and he wanted to go. Nothing the club can do

Sounds like Damia Abella is potentially staying, words from interview with CC from Valencia official site below

"I will add people who have shown me their value in previous experiences," he added. "Marcos Abad as goalkeeping coach, Jorge Alarcon as assistant coach, Josep Alcacer as assistant coach, Martin Drury as assistant coach with the focus on individual improvement, Rafael Aranda as fitness coach and Angel de las Heras as assistant on the pitch. That is the group that was working with me and that can complement very well the value that was already at the club.”

Until a new manager arrives, maybe.

He also confirms they contacted him the day after the Bristol game, I think they had him in their sights regardless part of me was thinking had we not won that game would he still be here

Well the knockers have now seen their dream fulfilled and CC has left the building.

Wonder how long it will take before the new guy ( whoever it is) is rubbished on a regular basis for not winning every game with a mediocre squad.

Well it's already started with David Moyes and at time of posting he hasn't even got the job yet  ;) .

Not a someone but a two. Godzilla and King Kong.

Be interesting to see how Valencia get on tomorrow with it being CC’s first game in charge. Also interesting to see what happens to CC if Valencia are relegated to Liga 2.
