Last year of his contract right? Shouldn't he be trying to impress to get another or potential suitors? Instead it's the opposite...

Looks like he's set on retirement to me. No interest in the game for most of the games this season.

Sometimes when players time at a club is coming to an end they are usually poor but come January start playing for their next contract. Not for us this season.

I feel the same about Swift. I thought he started the season well but I think I’ve now had enough.

Surely, you mean last season until his injury at Blues?

Someone said Robins is a fan but i might be imagning it.

Not even the combined efforts of Batman and Superman can save his "career".

You can always rely on Stoke to come in for sloppy seconds.

Perhaps both Swift and his mate Wallace were paraded round the VIP area of the East Stand yesterday with high viz placards reading
FOR SALE
Bogof £2.99
West Brom 2024/25
C’mon you Baggies!!!

No I thought he started this season well.

I think he started the season ok thinking he was in with a chance of getting a new contract. As soon as he knew that was not going to happen so his play has the same.

He's invisible on the pitch. Does absolutely nothing worth mentioning.

At least Wallace gifts the other side with goals.

Possibly my most  relatively dissapointing albion
Player ever .
More than capable and at times shown it ..but at times isn’t enough, some of the simple things (effort/proffesional decision making) have been very lacking

I think (like Diangana) he looks back in 10 years time and says either
“Wow my house is big and I’ve got a beautiful car”
Or
“If only I had pushed on,I could genuinely have played for a spurs/Newcastle and be highly regarded in the game “
If youre going to get told off, get told off for doing something not for doing nothing..

He's got talent, but never really used it fully since his injury. Maybe the contract situation has impacted his thinking as well, as you suggest.

And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife
And you may ask yourself, "Well, how did I get here?"

I could be a poet I wouldn't need to worry
I could be a teacher in a classroom full of scholars
I could be the sergeant in a squadron full of wallahs
What a waste

I watched Mowbray's presser and interview this morning.

He mentions the 'quality attacking players' we have: Grady, Fellows, Johnstone, Grant, Maja. Doesn't mention Swift...

Sincerely hope you lot are in for a Swift rebuttal when he bags our winner for us tonight  ;) .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.

Saw his efforts at tracking back when Boro broke at one point and it made me angry.

With Mowbray in charge I’d suggest he will start a fair few games before the end of the season.
It is not the taking part, but the winning that counts.

We badly need to shift him on, offers nothing. If rather see a young kid come on than him , he’s that disinterested

I thought Wallace offered something when he came on today.

Unfortunately the other guy that came on with him did not. I'd give him a couple more games under TM to see if he can get something out of him and if not he may as well be the first in a bomb squad.
