Not sure what’s going on?  Just tried to buy tickets but the site says it’s a “restricted offer”  which I’m not “entitled to access”. What the heck does that mean?  Never had a problem buying online before.  They could certainly explain things better.  I guess I’ll have to phone on Monday?

How can it be restricted offer? General sale surely? We're playing Luton not Villa.

Give them a call mate and tell them to sort the website out. It isnt good enough.

I'm getting the same. Had trouble linking my new account but luckily found an old ticket with my membership no so could link my new account with my old one, but then when trying to buy tickets for Luton I get the same 'Restricted offer' message blocking me from proceeding. Is it just for Season Ticket holders and Members at the minute? If so, why not add this to the message.
This feels really poor from the club.

Not me mate, they're on general sale from 10am on Monday 9th (tomorrow)......

..... for some reason ticket details are under 'latest news' as opposed to ticket details.

https://www.wba.co.uk/news/luton-town-sheffield-united-ticket-details

'Tickets are now on sale to home season ticket holders and members for our Hawthorns clashes against Luton Town and Sheffield United.

Albion’s opening Sky Bet Championship home fixture sees them welcome Luton on Saturday, August 14 (ko 3pm), before hosting the Blades on Wednesday, August 18 (ko 8pm).

Prices are adults from £23, seniors from £18, under-23 £15, under-18 £10 and under-11 just £5.

Supporters can purchase tickets online, in-person from the East Stand Ticket Office or by calling 0121 227 2227.

Remaining tickets will go to general sale for both games on Monday, August 9 at 10am.

When purchasing tickets online, supporters will need to be logged into their My Albion account linked to your ticketing ID. Click here for instructions'.

I've had a membership for years and want to pick a ticket up when they are on general sale. Do I have to sign up to this new 25 quid membership or should I just be able to get tickets as I did before?

You should be able to buy as soon as they go on "general sale". In this instance Monday 9am.

Based on the performance from Friday night and availability pending, it has to be:

Johnstone

O'Shea   Ajayi   Clarke

Furlong----------------------------------Townsend

Livermore   Mowatt

Grady   Robinson   Grant

Phillips and Grady being interchangeable but I was disappointed with the performance of the latter on Friday night, too many times losing the ball cheaply so he needs to up his game moving forward.

The defence certainly cannot mirror that from Friday night, all of Button, Kipre and Bartley were frankly awful

I don’t think Kyle will be dropped but I think Clarke comes in for Kipre. I’d like Semi in there but can’t find a spot for him.

Other than that it’ll be pretty spot on.

We’ll know more about SJs future if he comes in for Button.

I dont like the idea of playing Diangana AND Grant. There is not enough threat there. From what we have now (if all are available) I would go:

                    Goalkeeper

        O'Shea    Bartley  Clarke

Furlong  Livermore Mowatt  Townsend

      Robinson  Phillips   Diangana.

Back 3 needs changing around after Friday night and if Johnstone is available he'd go straight in.

I'd start Diangana on the bench if he's fit as I think we looked much more potent when Phillips came on.

                                                          Johnstone

                                  O'Shea                   Bartley                Clarke

             Furlong                               Livermore              Mowatt                  Townsend

                             Robinson                    Phillips                   Grant

Subs: Button, Ajayi, Kipre, Diangana, Zohore, Tullock, De Castro (if fit).

Phillips was effective coming on after 60 or so minutes when the opposition is tiring, but I can't see him maintaining the sort of energy required for VI's gegenpress.

He managed 60 minutes against Sheff Wed & Watford in pre season (he didn't feature against Blues due to covid isolation I think). I appreciate that pre season games don't have the same intensity that league games do But Phillips looks a lot fitter this season and I'm sure he'll be fine for an hour or so each game.

I think at this stage we need to be trying to build Grady's confidence again as we are going to need him on form with our attacking options being fairly limited.

It’s just absurd.  You’d think that selling tickets would be the highest priority.  The website seems totally broken.  After jumping through a number of links to get to tickets sales, You select an area you want tickets for and then…. A big fat nothing!  No options.

What on Earth has gone wrong?  I’d love to go on Saturday but why do they make it so bloody difficult?

I got my tickets online earlier which was fairly easy? It was weird though, I picked two seats and then it chose two different ones for me which was odd but I'm happy enough. Sounds like it's since crashed which sums it up, from the start it's been really poorly managed.

I think this will sell out. I was looking at seats in the East Stand and there weren't many left and this was at 10AM.

Just bought my ticket and it was proper painless. I've seen some right horror stories on here about the ticketing website being a nightmare but it was swift and straight forward. I must have been one of the lucky ones.

Had a quick run through on the ticket site earlier via mobile phone. Managed to basket a ticket easily enough.

Wasn't buying though so I've no idea whether the payment would have been processed or if I could have more than one and actually allocated them separately etc.

Suppose I'll find out when the Blackburn tickets go on sale. I'm hoping for a smoother ride than tickets for the Blues friendly and Bournemouth away.

Bought my lad's ticket for Bournemouth direct from the ticket office after having a mare online. Member of the ticket office staff assured me a lot of work was being done to rectify the ticket platform. Hopefully things will get easier from here on. I'm not counting any chickens just yet though  ;D .

Perhaps the work in the background was paying off. I was dreading using it to be honest but no issues whatsoever. Sad that it's taken this long though to get it sorted.
