Most infuriating player ever for me.

He'll be off home to London in summer, could see him at Watford or QPR i guess.

I want him to do so well but he doesn’t offer much in terms of end product

15k per week back in our kitty i guess in the summer. I'd sell him in Jan if an offer comes in to be fair.

I’d let Rushall have him tonight
Although I now feel bad for Rushall.

As bad as he was, Swift was no better and has been just as bad this season. If they both go next summer then at least it will be some big money saved (alongside Wallace).

Don’t agree
Both today and Saturday Swift improved us when he came on.
Diangana is constantly being carried, I can’t forget the Play off semi where he gave Southampton the ball and jogged like a pensioner trying to look a bit busy….then they scored.

Swift has been no better than diagana this season ,and tbf to diagana it’s not his natural position as a number 10 which corberean plays him ,but on the flip side last season playing that position he had his best return of goals and assist since he’s been with us ,and too mention the Southampton game is a bit ridiculous because everyone can see one part of his game he has massively improved in the last year is his work rate

I really, really want Grady to hit a hot steak of form, but there’s no two ways about it: he was utterly woeful again today.

Think it's fair to say he's been a disappointment overall, certainly looks like we overpaid but that's not the players fault.

Did I hear last night that Grady has made something like 150 appearances for us now?

There have been probably 25 good performances in those games, 30 at a push.

He just isn't good enough for what we aspire too. Swift is the same.

I would be letting both go when their contracts are up.

Swift marginally better than Grady but neither are worth the wages or the start. Like to see us try either 2 up top (how radical and old fashioned I know) or even play racic molumby and mowatt as a 3

Diangana, Wallace and Swift are either past it or not good enough and should all be moved out even on a ‘free’ in January. It would save a large chunk in wages and open the door to affording better replacements.
At the same time get rid of SEMI AJAYI who scares me every time he lingers on the ball and often loses possession which is frequently - he’s a five star liability.

Poor, poor player that we made a massive mistake signing when we did. Pereira made a number of our players look good in those couple of seasons thanks to his sheer brilliance, he had HRK looking like prime R9 at times.

Picking him is detrimental to the team, he loses possession so often in dangerous areas when he is playing in the #10 role. For the odd occasion where he actually beats a man and sets someone up, it isn't worth the risk.

Swift has been far better than him this season despite people's hatred of him for some reason.

But both commentators vs Oxford and Blackburn felt the need to mention how much better we looked when Swift come in
If you are going to mention being “played out of position “ look how deep Swift is having to drop to get the ball too ?
Southampton game is one of many he’s a very poor performer for us,nor interested in playing with his suspenders than actually doing something useful…
Swift didn’t cost us 16 million quid and if Diangana work rate has improved he must of been reversing previously …should be ashamed to go in to training .

He stunk the place out last night - effort in that first half was abysmal.

He marginally improved the second half but it was such a low bar that he had set himself.

He is a shadow of the player we had in 2018.

The experiment at no 10 must end now.  He's a decent winger.

He doesn’t have the intelligence to play has a 10
I’m fine with him playing out wide either starting or coming on
The number 10 role requires someone who knows when to drop in and make the extra midfielder and when to go play up behind or alongside the striker
Swift for all his faults seems the best option or maybe a mowett/molumby axis will allow Racic to do that role
Either way it doesn’t suit Grady for me

If he didn't come lead a cheer at the end of games this guy would be getting pelters. He was woeful again today. Sometimes he doesn't look as bad as he us because some of the other dross we bring off the bench: swift, Wallace, Dobbin etc

Woeful doesn't cover it, but he is a shadow of his former self.

Just when I thought he was getting back to his old self last season, he is now in the worst period of form since he arrived.

Doubt anyone will bid for him in January but we'll have to take the loss on him next summer as we cannot retain him.

Always infuriating, some quality moments, some poor moments but this season just awful mainly.

Another 15k pw saved for virtually nothing end of season.

Just think. If we go up somehow he'll be on a promotion bonus and there'll very likely be a clause in his contract about flex down back pay. And then there's the near obligatory contract extension on promotion to consider  ;D .

Agree with this - we've reached the point in his Albion career where he has reached the end of the road.

For the money we're paying him we're getting very little in return.

I'm not sure where his career goes from here but it certainly won't be with us.

Be interesting to see if he goes back home to Watford/QPR/Millwall etc and improves and if he really was "homesick"
