Real shame he never clicked, there's a good player in there somewhere.  Why? Injuries?  Homesickness for Larndon?  Manager turnover?  Maybe all of the above.

I felt he was never the same after that injury, even when he first came back from it while still on loan here. He was never the same for me.

Agree. I'd also add that Perreira on the pitch gave Diangana a lot of space and time which he hasn't had since.

These days he's just way too predictable. He never crosses, often gives the ball away too often and tries to over-play it too much. It's a shame but it will be best for everyone in the summer when he's moved on.

His journey could become similar to that of Junior Hoilett - a bit of promise early on but ends up spending his career in the Championship with fans wondering when he will rediscover that early form.

That said, in terms of goals & assists, last year was his best season for us (15). He got 14 in his first season with us under Bilic.

I really want Grady to finally fulfil his potential but I think we have to accept that that is simply not going to happen (not here, anyway).

When was the last time he played well?

he strikes me as a player that shines when we are playing well, he is doesn't look the type of player to singlehandedly change the course of a game.

Last chance to get some money for him in January. If someone came in with £1.5/2m he can go for me. True of a couple of others as well.

I actually thought he was good last season and hoped he’d push on this season or at the very least continue the form. I’ve sometimes felt he comes in for unnecessary stick however he has been pretty bad this season so far - he has the capability to turn it around and he is not alone in not yet finding any form.

Always wanted him to succeed as we all do but unless he can have a big turnaround this season it’s time for a thank you, shake of the hand and all parties move on. He’s go with nothing but my best wishes as I do feel he tries his best and connects with fans - or again, at least tries to!

I think the fans genuinely will him to get good again, it’s just not going to happen, get rid in jan on a free if needs be and step one of the kids up .

trained and should be in the squad Sunday. We needed him to be a match winner but always seems to fall short. Good contributor but not the game changer needed.

So many times in the past I would have been pleased to hear that he’s available to play. Sadly, I no longer am…..

People have lost any faith they had in Grady Diangana.
Best thing to do is to order a taxi for him and ship him out in January for whatever sum we can get. Shame really considering his original potential which has never materialised since his first Achilles injury.

Sadly Grady seems content to lead the cheerleaders at the end of away games, and contributes nothing else.
This is not the same guy who I witnessed demolish a team, and turn a game on its head in twenty minutes on his debut at Luton.
Thanks for the memory Grady.

Maybe he'll be used as a winger now.  Much better there.

In a game that's stretched against limited opposition he will of course look better. Problem is we usually aren't 2 goals up so he isn't afforded that freedom.

I feel like I’ve spent years watching every appearance desperately hoping that he clicks into form. Ultimately that’s been years wasted for me but more importantly for him.

He reluctantly left West Ham and has spent much of that time in a championship team as a bit part player in a team that has failed to do anything of any note. Other than the very strange and out of character celebrations with fans after a win he has been fairly anonymous.

It’s sad really because we all know there is talent there, but we won’t see it and unless we get a fee this month then he will walk out from this club having served us for a long time but making no mark.

Despite never hitting the heights of his loan season I thought he had a good season last year, trickled out a bit with injury. He’s not been good this season but sometimes I feel there are 1 or 2 that are looking for him to fail.

Ultimately he’s never hit his potential and it’s a shame but it seems the injury, injuries and some Tin Man syndrome have done him in.

Always want all our players to do well, but Grady has used up all his chances with us imo, and unless the new manager can resurrect his career by Easter, whilst very cross at the massive loss on him, we have to say goodbye.

Played much better today.

Still frustrates, but played some incisive balls and scored a good goal.

Done more than swift and Wallace combined, but so has Caleb Taylor and he's a cb and only played once.

Please let this be a purple patch for him before the summer goodbye.

I thought last season was his most productive from a goal involvement perspective?

Thought Grady was the best attacking player on the pitch today. Not just because of the goal but he was the one most likely to have found the incisive pass both from out wide and from a central position
