Probably because theres a topic on the main forum discussing it already so no need to keep trying to start another, maybe have a look around before posting and then complaining when it gets removed.

Fair enough, I apologise. I expect that sort of news to be in the transfer forum and I didn't see any, didn't think to check anywhere else on that basis.
I'm watching you Ghandi!!!

This is what you get when you get head coaches and technical directors. Ronnie Allen was a manager who could identify and sign players.
Those days are gone.

This is the first time in my 30 years that I don't want my season ticket.

Genuinely have had the enthusiasm for this club ripped out of me.

If the club or their media blokes read this site they have got to come clean with us. I have supported this club for 51 years and I am bloody fuming.
IT'S MORE THAN A CLUB, IT'S OUR CULTURE

Anyone want to buy a season ticket?  I am going to write to the club to ask them to buy it back.  I bought it to be entertained not bored to sleep.

even Pulis himself said the club has stagnated and needed new players to freshen things up. he's not my cup of tea but if this is how the club intends to back him he should walk away, the people at the top would get everything they deserve when we get relegated.
last season they put the prices up citing the reason being the extra income would help us to compete at this level. KNADS
we need to stay in this league at all cost to get the mega ££££££££££s new tv deal to move the club forward. KNADS
the takeover and new owners will put us in a different stratosphere financially. KNADS
EVERYTHING I THINK ABOUT THE ALBION NOW IS THEYRE A LOAD OF balls.

I am wondering if the larger bids we're supposed to have made were contingent on Berahino being sold? Having said that, these supposed larger bids weren't for strikers to replace him. Whatever the truth of that, it's fair to say that we've spent (as at 9.30pm) well less than we ought to have available as a result of the new TV deal.

We're witnessing the birth of the first pure business club. All that matters is keeping a high profit margin.

The aim is to spend as little as humanly possible to scrabble together a team that can just about get survival if it plays the most turgid football to man. The fans are an irrelevance. Gate receipts are unnecessary, so entertainment isn't a concern. Big signings aren't necessary, the only goal is to survive, why rock the boat and waste precious money that can be skimmed off as profit?

It'll be interesting to see where the club goes after Pulis because they've bet on him massively as someone who will keep them up regardless of the quality of the team. Even if we stay up, the long term future isn't looking good.

Don't think there has ever been such a disconnect between fans and the club than this, certainly not in my 30 years of supporting us.

Massive new TV deal in place so we have more than the usual to spend this summer, freed up serious wages by removing Sess and Anichebe from the wage bill, Sold Chester, Gamboa and loaned out Poco so there was another ten million in the pot and we sign 4 players, only one of whom is of particular quality and loan a young kid.

We are now left with effectively one striker at the club of the required quality, the other strikers we have are a Reading (Chamoionship) reject and a kid who has no desire to play for us and is not doing so whenever is selected.

Our midfield options for the season are a mix of Morrison, Fletcher, Yacob and Gardner. It's f*cking atrocious.

Chadli must be wondering what he has signed up to here.

Don't care what they do or don't this evening now , the club I spend most of my life worrying about , talking about , arguing about and defending has stuck a stiff 2 fingers up at me tonight and I'm really inebriated off

An idea - maybe if enough of us write to the new Chairman - trouble is I doubt the minnions would allow it to reach him.

Provided my calculator is working ok I reckon of the the total transfer budget we were responsible for 0.02 % of the total money spent. What a f...King discrace.  The problem is whether our new owner is tuned in well enough to know what's happening, I fear for the clubs future now.

thought the same mate but my only protest, not that the club cares one jot is that 3 seats will stay vacant all season. they can keep my money and stick it up their backside.

wouldnt have thought so we had plenty of time to sell him and even put the money in the bank and let it earn a bit of interest !!

If you email the club for the attention of John Williams he will get it.

Understand Pulis had a change of heart over Camacho. £15m deal had been agreed #wba

I said this in his thread. It's just such an un-Pulis like signing it was clearly club led. I also wouldn't be surprised if it was Pulis who insisted on going for carvalho despite how patently absurd that was.

That would make sense, almost all other scenarios wouldn't. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it wasn't Mr P that cocked this up. Tried to play a poker hand & it didn't come off.
