Massive congratulation to Sporting Club Albion (next season they will be more closely affiliated with the club by being called West Bromwich Albion Ladies, I believe) who have done the double this season and have the biggest game in their brief history this weekend.
They won the County Cup, beating Coventry on penalties but more impressively won their league (Women's Premier League North) and will play-off against Brighton Ladies this Sunday at Wycombe Wanderers's Adam Park.
Winner takes all with promotion to Women's Super League 2 where the likes of Villa Ladies, Everton Ladies and Sheffield Ladies (who SC Albion beat in this year's FA Cup, before losing to Man City 2-0 in the quarter finals) all play.
We've already beaten Brighton this year (also in the FA Cup) 4-3 at their place so fingers crossed for a win and promotion. Good luck ladies!
