Sky tv and in particular the premier league is wearing very thin.

Why is it always the home games and not the away games that we can't get to? :(

Suppose we can't complain too much (at least, not yet!)... some horrible fixtures on MNF for the away fans - Liverpool v Bournemouth for one, then the Scousers have to get back from Arsenal a week later... and my favourite being the Geordies down at West Ham in September.

Someone at Sky has a sick sense humour.

Our commentary position/hospitality is obviously too comfortable/welcoming for the commentary teams!!
Build a 70's style corrugated steel box on top of the Halfords!! See how many home games are on tv then!

This was expected, it's nothing new.

Annoying how they're all home games though.

Nice and accessible for the nice people from Sky, straight off the M5.  I think they have admitted as much for games like Boxing Day / New Years Day in the past.

Really frustrating.  The first game should be played on a Saturday afternoon with glorious sunshine beaming down onto a beautiful vibrant green pitch, which in turn should have large shadows cast upon it from the packed stands.   Hope and excitement in the air as supporters reacquaint themselves with familiar faces, new signings aplenty all of whom sport a dazzling striped shirt.

Is it.  Isn't it? You know, marvellous!

F**k Sky TV.

Ah well that's the first £2.4 million in the bank off the TV companies, many more to come.

Kerching goes the Premier League.

this is so annoying, we have to wait longer for our season to start.
I`ll allready be missing 3 games from my season ticket already ! (I'm on on holiday for the Chelsea so was missing that anyway).
Why would they pick 3 Albion games in a row ?
.
let me  know if there are takers for the City, Chelsea and Everton games. I`ll put them on the match forums when they are up.

F**k Sky TV indeed. The image you so accurately and somewhat romantically describe is bang on. That is EXACTLY how an opening game of the season should be. I remember singing "You can stick your Sky TV up your backside" during our FA Cup Quarter Final at home to Fulham in 2002 at the back of the Brummie, where I used to reside back then. Our game kicked off at that oh so traditional FA cup time of 6pm on the Sunday evening. My mate put his cap over the camera lens on the camera they had mounted at the back of the stand rendering that camera position useless. It was hilarious watching the camera moving up and down, the operator obviously trying to shake it off! 13 years later and the Sky TV dominance and dictatorship is becoming even more soul destroying for our game.

Least Southampton game mid September will be closed to full as that's our first Saturday home game, rip off really like above poster said I'm slowly getting tired of the premiership.

From a selfish view man city game falls on my birthday but feel sorry for those who have forked out hard earned money for a ST and they can't even enjoy a days Saturday football until mid September.

Watford will be very hard to get tickets for might have to be stoke for me.

Get ready for 11am or 12 noon on a Sunday methinks.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

I hate Monday night kick offs. I work in Minworth, and live just south of Derby, so it's not worth going home.
I then have to battle across Birmingham through the rush hour traffic, and just have a McDonalds for my tea.

Could be worse. I can't make Monday night games full stop. One of the reasons I gave up my ST.
