Spent ages not in the game as all wingers did in those days................but when he did have the ball, you were on the edge of your seat, EVERY TIME.

As much as I'm looking forward to this tonight, i have a slight feeling that they will only brush over the fact he played for the Albion, which worries me somewhat, as after all its where he made his name, i hope i am wrong. but cant see them mentioning the baggie boys much.
Don't forget we hardly get a mention in the media as it is, so only time will tell.

I have seen a preview and you are right.Not a great deal mentioned about his time with us.More about his time in Spain.He played in the same team as the current Spain manager del bosqe who talks about him quite highly

Does anyone remember Magpie a kids prog, well Ronnie Allen was on a few times when he was the Albion manager showing kids different skills in football, , but what i remember there was a footballer showing these skills, but you could only see his ankles, but you could tell it was Laurie, black legs and socks down to his ankles.

Well having just watched that I thought it was amazing. It gave a balanced account of all the clubs he played for and was a real educational and emotional program.
