Not me mate, they're on general sale from 10am on Monday 9th (tomorrow)......

..... for some reason ticket details are under 'latest news' as opposed to ticket details.

https://www.wba.co.uk/news/luton-town-sheffield-united-ticket-details

'Tickets are now on sale to home season ticket holders and members for our Hawthorns clashes against Luton Town and Sheffield United.

Albion’s opening Sky Bet Championship home fixture sees them welcome Luton on Saturday, August 14 (ko 3pm), before hosting the Blades on Wednesday, August 18 (ko 8pm).

Prices are adults from £23, seniors from £18, under-23 £15, under-18 £10 and under-11 just £5.

Supporters can purchase tickets online, in-person from the East Stand Ticket Office or by calling 0121 227 2227.

Remaining tickets will go to general sale for both games on Monday, August 9 at 10am.

When purchasing tickets online, supporters will need to be logged into their My Albion account linked to your ticketing ID. Click here for instructions'.
Great stuff, thanks Dan

Pretty sure I read somewhere (Dan?) tickets for Luton are not on general sale until the 10th, as for phoning the ticket office I wish you luck with that one guys 'because you are going to need endless patience to get through
cheers fella - will give it a go on the 10th.

Might even try the ticket office tomorrow if I get a couple of hours spare  ;)

Not sure what’s going on?  Just tried to buy tickets but the site says it’s a “restricted offer”  which I’m not “entitled to access”. What the heck does that mean?  Never had a problem buying online before.  They could certainly explain things better.  I guess I’ll have to phone on Monday?
I'm getting the same. Had trouble linking my new account but luckily found an old ticket with my membership no so could link my new account with my old one, but then when trying to buy tickets for Luton I get the same 'Restricted offer' message blocking me from proceeding. Is it just for Season Ticket holders and Members at the minute? If so, why not add this to the message.
This feels really poor from the club.

One of the main problems for me is the contrasting styles of play between ourselves and Northampton. Admittedly I only watched the play off final to have a look at Morton, but the way Keith Curle (*spits) set his team up was long balls into the front two and heavily reliant on set pieces - some of the stats displayed during the game suggested this was the way they've played all season. Morton was paired with a big target man who took most of the big hits, and he was there to pick up the scraps and press and hassle. I thought he looked decent in that set-up and took his goal instinctively, but I think he needs a season in a different set up to see if his game can evolve.

It is a crying shame that The Hawthorns was not able to give him the send off he deserves.
Fingers crossed we get drawn against Stoke in one of the cups at least.

Man of the match for me last night.

Does anyone know who he was hugging for so long after the game? It was an oldish fella with long white hair I think - seemed to go on for ever.

I'm still  bitter about it. Us vs Portsmouth should have been the final, and they beat us with a handball, and a team they couldn't afford.
Glad it's not just me still feels that way about it!

I thought City were facing a transfer embargo for a couple of seasons?  Is this not the case now?

Also, as well as a decent sell-on clause you'd like to think the club have negotiated a promising player on loan in return?

Did a bit of googling and found this article from 1999... some very familiar names in the piece but this kind of thing will always go on whilst the big hitters have such a massive say in things: https://www.theguardian.com/football/1999/jan/08/newsstory.sport4

(the irony of Big Sam moaning made me chuckle.)

One question for me would be why Hughton felt the need to bring him on at all? The game was done (Murray had just scored to put them 2-1 up), so why inflame the situation?

yes, aiming at Barry who was there nearly every time... we did it with enough consistnacy to suggest that it was planned.
MotD2 ran an interesting piece on this on Sunday night, showing how Stoke had three players at the front post to prevent the runs of Rondon and the centre-halves, forcing us to deliver to the back post time and again. (I get the feeling Fletcher may have had quite an input on that for them, the grass!)

As for Gibbs... £7Mil in today's market for an experienced Prem standard full back a decent signing for us I think.  Should benefit from a more defensive set up than Aresenal's.

Massive congratulation to Sporting Club Albion (next season they will be more closely affiliated with the club by being called West Bromwich Albion Ladies, I believe) who have done the double this season and have the biggest game in their brief history this weekend.

They won the County Cup, beating Coventry on penalties but more impressively won their league (Women's Premier League North) and will play-off against Brighton Ladies this Sunday at Wycombe Wanderers's Adam Park.

Winner takes all with promotion to Women's Super League 2 where the likes of Villa Ladies, Everton Ladies and Sheffield Ladies (who SC Albion beat in this year's FA Cup, before losing to Man City 2-0 in the quarter finals) all play.

We've already beaten Brighton this year (also in the FA Cup) 4-3 at their place so fingers crossed for a win and promotion. Good luck ladies!

I agree with most that Gamboa looked half-decent (better than Dawson?) and should be given a run maybe on the right... y'know, a round peg in a round hole?!  Chester seemed to grow into the game but only as Posh tired. Fletcher ok and took goal well.  Rondon's shot to pieces - bereft of confidence, half-heartedly challenging for balls that looked his favour to win and, well, just poor overall.  Just out of interest, did we use all of our subs?  Surely swapping for Vic would've taken him out of the firing line a bit - after all isn't Pulis moaning the team are tired, or is he sending a message to Peace for summer spends?

As for Pulis' constant bawling instructions - it's no wonder the team look so disjointed.  At one point I saw McClean having a go back at him after being rollocked for not following his instructions but the rest of the team looked petrified to try anything other than what was being barked at them.  And then to see him throw his arms in the air at even the slightest error... I'm all for a passionate manager but it can't help your confidence, can it?

All in all glad we're through (love the FA Cup still!) but my god we looked poor. Dreading Everton this weekend...

Same old story  -  no attacking ability from midfield whatsoever. Not a single midfield player understands how to make the runs beyond the strikers, and none can put a striker through with a decent pass.

Or are they under instructions not to venture beyond the strikers?

Screams of "Run him, run him" from Pulis aimed at Dawson when he's one on one with their left back.  Shouldn't be Dawson running the full back but one of the wingers currently occupying the bench.

Suppose we can't complain too much (at least, not yet!)... some horrible fixtures on MNF for the away fans - Liverpool v Bournemouth for one, then the Scousers have to get back from Arsenal a week later... and my favourite being the Geordies down at West Ham in September.

Someone at Sky has a sick sense humour.

Good game plan from us last night. Swansea looked v poor compared to their usual standards and the loss of Bony could hit them but I think our shape first half was excellent, and the spine of the team superb.  Lescott oozed class at times, Fletcher and Yacob broke up play brilliantly and kept Shelvey and Kim very quiet.

Dawson isn't a right back and so naturally struggled but he also imposed himself on their left side from Foster's kicks and I think that helped with his confidence.

Brown just makes me smile!  Sometimes it seems more luck than judgement with what he does, but his passion is there for all to see and he could have easily jumped out of the way for Morrison to get a shot off - instead he took command and bagged a good goal.  And special mention for  Berahino - some have said he didn't look committed last night but he filled into a five man midfield to help us shore up the side and keep that elusive clean sheet.

Still a long way to go and would like to see proper full-backs utilised (maybe this weekend?) but I think that was a big step to safety last night.
