I reckon it will be a tomorrow morning announcement and introduction to the fans at the game.

Seems pretty set in stone that it is happening. I loved his previous tenure here, and his more recent body of work stacks up too, so I am certainly not adverse to him returning, just hope all of the health issues he had are resolved now else we could end up like the Blues which would not end well for us.

I don't think Dyche is as bad as made out to be, same as CC. Was more the fact that people think we would turn him down and not vice versa.

Got a feeling club is waiting on Mowbrays results in 2 days

Oh, even if we wanted him, I don't see any way that Dyche would come to us right now so agree with you there.

That's fair enough if you don't like his style, I don't care personally, I like any style that gets us as many PPG as we can, but I've seen people suggest we would be turning him down across social media which is nuts

I know what you mean, and it is why I continued to back CC, though I don't think the football under CC was anywhere near as bad as a lot of people were making out. With Dyche, I am in the camp of not wanting him as our manager, rightly or wrongly. I just do not like watching what he has to offer.

However, a Burnley supporting friend of mine would love him back as their manager so go figure.

I know but some Albion fans think he's beneath us.

I don’t think anyone thinks he’s beneath us, more that his style of ‘football’ is not what they want to see.

At the very latest I had expected/wanted someone in place for the Stoke game with them having had this week to train them for it and get them started on their new ideas.

Very disappointing for it to be Tuesday evening and us seemingly no closer to that goal.

Referee awards Villa a corner, for no absolutely no reason, baffling, which they then scored from to make it 1-1

Jammiest club going

I’ve said it for a long time, they really are.

Now they are ahead thanks to our academy lad. I hate them with an absolute passion

hopefully a new deal will help him "kick on" with his development.

Will take a new goalkeeping coach for that, not the pudding that is Myhill

I wouldn't say we blew it just very very very unlucky even Rednknapp admitted we were the best team on the day

We were cheated out of it by a combination of Howard Webb’s officiating on the day and Redknapp and Mandaric spending money they did not have to effectively bankrupt the club in that season. Was a disgrace all round really but nothing is said about it because it’s the Albion

Happier with this than Hake if it is to be Wicky

I think the 3rd candidate is Schumacher

Not sure I’d fancy him, was never the same after the skiing accident  ;D

Borja Sainz suspended for 6 games for spitting

Gives Maja a good chance to catch him up goals wise

Tonights PL2 game has been called off, frozen pitch so he won't be getting a run out tonight if that was planned.

Probably for the best in this weather with his legs  :-X

Sean Dyche reportedly sacked by Everton, few hours before tonights game, strange timing.

Jose Mourinho the favourite to take over.

The new owners are wasting no time

Steve Hermon
@SteveHermon

Despite reports suggesting otherwise, I understand that Albion are still very much in the interview stage in their search for a new head coach and the job hasn’t been offered to anyone yet #WBA

EDIT - Lewis Cox also saying it's not true that Hake has been offered the job

Good news for me.

Can't say that I am overly inspired by the appointment if it is true  :-X would have preferred Wicky of the two, but he would have my full support and a hope he can continue the excellent work done by CC.

Does anyone think he’s any good,I’ve watched him a few times and never seen much ?

Was very annoying against us last season when he seemed on a one man crusade to stop us scoring when we vastly outplayed Leicester at their place.

I don't think use of the phrase 'Corberan detractor' is something anyone can have an issue with. Zippy, are you now trying to claim that you weren't one after seeing the paucity of options available to us?

You were staunchly Corberan out for a long time and made your feelings very clear on it.

Regardless of whether Ange is sacked, he would not be coming here, whether we would want him or not, so that one is a very quick discussion point.

Agreed. Would happily boycott such a move.

Hopefully his failed spell there stops the incessant clamour on here for him to be involved in the first team squad. He’s clearly not at this level.

Why not go for the Sheff Wed manager?

The purported £5m compensation figure may have something to do with that  ;D
