That’s the problem, they need to stop playing and take it seriously!

They used to, under a very strict head coach, but you saw an end to him  ;)

I mean, if you bring Southgate in you’re effectively replacing a tactically clueless manager with…a tactically clueless manager

3
Sad thing is that could be a decent side if they could be bothered

Fritzl would get them playing  ;)

4
Fingers crossed they pick some of those players leaving in the summer so the lovely fans that we have can give them a pleasant send off and wish them all the best for the future  ;D

Team for me on that basis:

Griffiths

Furlong   Ajayi   Bartley   Heggem

Swift   Mowatt

Fellows   Price   Grady

Armstrong

Have a lovely weekend, chaps  ;D :-*

Fritzl has been a busy man the past few days, and there are far too many pages in this thread to be catching up on!

Someone give me the low down...any closer to appointing a new man? Main question is, will they meet the Fritzl eye test which is clearly the most important facet as I continue to demonstrate that I am not wrong when it comes to our managers, readily identifying the busted flushes in Bruce and Mowbray and the absolute genius that is Corberan in the past few years  ;D

he's also being coached by Myhill who can barely walk or kick a ball

Agreed on this. We need a shred of professionalism moving forward and having an obese goalkeeping coach who, in his prime, was happy to be a back up goalkeeper, is something that needs to be addressed.

That was after he had been stuck trying to get out the East Stand car park until the stewards finally helped him out by letting him go out from entrance gate and he sped off towards West Bromwich in his g wagon.

He still looked like he had his kit on and he had a face like thunder.

Yep, he was certainly making a hasty exit.

Utter twaddle. Not a single one of them have earned the right  to an opinion let alone the right to down tools. If some of these idiots stay in the game to they are 100 they still won't know their backside from their elbow.

That is your opinion and you are very welcome to it, but I have been in dressing rooms (to nowhere near the same level, sadly!) where you know that the person in charge of the team is not up to it, and it would be better if that person were no longer in situ, and the temptation to reign it in for the greater good if that manager is removed is there.

Footballers are ambitious, these players will want to get promoted. Under Mowbray promotion was just never going to happen next season. He would have left us where Bruce did.

As I said previously, I have no idea if it actually happened that they stopped playing, but the performance yesterday would suggest they had.

In the end, it has paid dividends because it has resulted in a change, which was much needed despite some protestations on here,

Russell Martin will get that job I reckon, played for them for years

That does seem to make sense, unless, with his arrogance, he feels he can do better.

Their behaviour stinks and seems to be coordinated to a large extent. They should be ashamed of themselves. For me it seemed very very deliberate.

You could definitely argue that they have done all they could to get him sacked, but, conversely, they all know football and probably realised he was not up to it so perhaps wanted to send a message to the board as they want to get promoted next season.

Not saying this would be the right thing for them to do, but you know as a player if your manager is not good enough

This super dooper  squad has lost twice to Derby and hasn’t of yet beaten Luton or Cardiff whoever’s been in charge . Yes we haven’t lost to the top 3 in 6 games but we haven’t beaten any of them either

You’ve contradicted yourself all in the space of one post.

Like I say, under an actual manager we have been in the top 6 for the majority of a year or so, so it’s clearly capable of being there, it just needs a capable manager.

I agree but such is the “modern” football fan it’s all down to the manager . This is the worst squad since our first promotion under Megson . Seriously hope some of them are reading this forum tonight and are suitably chaste !

Again, I reiterate, we have been in the top six for the majority of the past year, so call me a modern football fan if you want, but the squad is clearly capable of being there with the right manager in charge of it…

If anyone can look at the Bristol City squad compared to ours and tell me it’s better player for player whilst keeping a straight face, they’d be doing well. It’s not a great league, chaps

A handful of posters on here who wanted Corberan out or were not fussed if he walked and claimed he was holding the team back, where have they disappeared to?

Sad end to the season, mid table rump. I don’t mind if they keep Mowbray as long as we have a big clear out of the squad. It’s all over the place at the minute.

They always slink off into the shadows, sadly, instead of staying to justify their opinions or revise them with the benefit of hindsight.

One particular member who struggled to type coherent sentences seems very quiet now when he was very vocal against me a few weeks ago.

He’s just driven past me on the Birmingham Road  :-X

I’m guessing something may have kicked off post game?

Anyone going to tell me he’s the man to lead us forward now?

Be careful what you wish for chaps, because it’s far worse now than it was when we drew a few games in October and November

3-1 at home to Derby with absolutely no tactics on display. This season has just been an utter disaster

He’s just throwing players on and asking them to come up with something. No game plan, no tactics and certainly no strategy.

It’s about how it’s been since we appointed him. It’s beyond bad

Are you enjoying us losing?! That’s a rhetorical question by the way, of course you’re not.

This is absolute shambolic and to me it feels like when Val’s days were up.

Far from it sadly, I’ve made it abundantly clear where I was at, when all the morons around me in the BRE were calling for Corberan to get sacked. We were lucky to have him. Now we are in the position of having an absolutely awful manager in charge and yet people still want to give him more time.

Honestly, I just give up with our fan base at times. I have no idea what they are watching and wonder if there is any actual football knowledge there.

Yet again though, I am proven right, much as I wish I was wrong in this instance

Worst Albion team in 20 years.

Worst Albion manager since Bruce. This set of players were 5th under a capable manager…

Why on earth has he picked Diangana in centre mid?

I guess it has reached the point of it no longer mattering who is picked or where. No idea what to expect from today. Not felt this apathetic about us since the Bruce days
