Seems a bit stupid having different rules on transfers between clubs in the same country really.
It's all about money, EPL does EFL doesnt

Looks like he is either the replacement for Swift or Grady in the no 10 position.

Swift has no bottle.
Always passes it off to someone with a man on their backside or looks at someone else to tackle.

He needs to be gone, Mr Bruce wasted some wages on him and Wallace.

Watched Isaac Price play tonight for Liege. Subbed off in 88th minute.

Not a great game, Liege ain't exactly exciting and attacking as (i think) Standaman said.

Isaac himself got an assist to the assist (played a ball in, someone shot from Isaac's pass but hit his shot the post and bounced out to another attacker who finished).  He won't be winning any awards for distance covered. Only got forward a few times and he mainly just sat in front of the defence and covered left and right flanks when caught short and turned over.

Didn't break a sweat at all but i guess those are his instructions plus hopefully he's staying fresh for his rumoured medical.

Any reason he was taken off in the 88th minute ?

Possibly my most  relatively dissapointing albion
Player ever .
More than capable and at times shown it ..but at times isn’t enough, some of the simple things (effort/proffesional decision making) have been very lacking

I think (like Diangana) he looks back in 10 years time and says either
“Wow my house is big and I’ve got a beautiful car”
Or
“If only I had pushed on,I could genuinely have played for a spurs/Newcastle and be highly regarded in the game “

It will be the big house

No I thought he started this season well.

I think he started the season ok thinking he was in with a chance of getting a new contract. As soon as he knew that was not going to happen so his play has the same.

If Mowbray is up to it health-wise then it has to be him, best candidate by a mile.

Also think our playoff chances are quite significantly impacted by the Maja injury which takes some pressure off rushing into any managerial decision. So not against the interim team continuing for a bit longer if Mowbray needs more time, would rather that than end up with a rushed perm appointment who nobody is that sold on.

I think due to the Maja injury we do need a new Boss ASAP to assist with getting in a replacement forward.  I can't see how a forward would sign for us without speaking to the manager to see if they will get game time.

No where near I'm afraid.   Needs to go back out.  Maybe drop a division.

I think he came on for us in the League Cup so can't play for another team if he played any minutes for Walsall

The issue appears to be that Raphael Wicky was unable to assemble the backroom staff he wanted.

This was not because of any financial concerns from Albion’s end. I understand #WBA were fully behind him and the 2 staff he wanted but it’s not worked out, so the search moves on.

Looks like its Wicky has failed here in that he couldn't get the coaches he wanted to come with him, not the clubs fault.

Who next Cooper, Dyche, or Schumacher ?

#wba have ended talks with Raphaël Wicky, who will not become the club’s new head coach. No longer in discussions after Wicky was unable to assemble his preferred backroom staff. Talks will now resume with other candidates

Would you consider giving the lad more of a chance than one game since his return? I know Bournemouth made changes but it was Prem opposition, his partner Holgate was very poor and maybe Taylor needs to be alongside a better mentor or a steadier head?

It’s his first game back since his loan and one where he’s impressed where Wycombe fans felt he’d be going into bigger things. If possible I’m hoping he maybe goes lower Championship on loan but not sure if the rules allow it?

For this season he has now played for two clubs, so he either stays with us or goes back to Wycombe

Why not go for the Sheff Wed manager?

I think southampton looked at him until they saw the compensation required to get him out of his contract.

If this is true the compensation money from CC would be used to offset the his wages.

Are people really going to turn their noses up at a manager who won a European trophy 18 months ago ?

Second favourite for the Southampton job after Danny Rohl.

According to Teamtalk (Yes they get more wrong than right) they want Danny Rohl. However, compensation is likely to be an issue and means that the Saints could turn to an overseas appointment.

If this is the case Carlos won't be going anywhere .

The one thing with the Cleary loan is that will be his second club he will have played for this season, so if we were to recall him in Jan he won't be able to go out on loan again.

On the 'Hear we gew' podcast today, featuring Dood and 2 others, they say Villa have a Jan recall option.

Standard loan agreement, in case if the player doesn't get enough game time, the player can be recalled OR if the player does really well they recall him because another Prem team wants to loan him and they get a bigger loan fee.
