Has yet to be wrong thus far in my membership on this forum  ;)

Perhaps people will listen to me from the start this time instead of joining the bandwagon when I’m proven right…
You told us in Sept that Racic would replace Molumby in this side as he's a class above if memory serves ...may have been just before Sheff Wed away . :o ;D
Anyway , back to the new manager......

With our lack of funds I don't think the defence which did well enough under Carlos will be first to be revamped , If it is then LB and CB will take priority imo unless we get a good enough offer for Darnell .

I wouldnt be against John Eustace If Derby drop , yes not the greatest on the eye but builds a team properly .

Mowbray teams have never been able to defend, the zonal making is nowhere, all on Mowbray.
A point I often make , they always had a few goals in them to cover that in the past .

I've never been quite sold on the early love in for Nestor , transfers have been mixed ( especially the 2 from Italy ) and the first real test in replacing Carlos hasn't gone well .
To go from Carlos and his intense defensive style to Mowbray and his attempt at attacking football was just to much of a jump and to be honest a bit naive of Nestor .
While its 10 X's better than Lai and co I hope lessons will be learned quickly.

Tell you one thing that baffles me , Mowbrays Blackburn and Sunderland sides could be very physical and from memory gave us a right kicking away at Ewood Park . I really thought we'd be getting the latter version of Mowbray but it appears we've gone back in time , I'll admit I rolled my eyes when I heard him say he'd sooner win 4 -3 than 1 nil the other week! :o :D

Fortunately it's Nestor's ultimate call. Tony might want Swift but Nestor needs to lay down the law for the good of the club
He'll have a fair say in it like Carlos with Bartley last season. Don't be surprised if Swift gets a deal like that when he shouldn't in my view.

Its not a red imo , he's not out of control .

If Mowbray stays he'll 100% want soft feet Swift here , maybe on a lower contract like Bartley last season .

After the dust has settled from Bristol City I look at the recent results and performances given we added Price , Bany and Armstrong in the last window and I'm scratching my head at what a mess its turned out .Yes Palmer was a big blow but Mowbray hanging his hat on Wildsmith for so long was a serious clanger . Disjointed line ups , no real early signs of a new style of play .....for a bloke in the game as long as Tony its unbelievable . For all the respect he has here its starting to smell like one job too many , theres plenty not to like about certain parts of this squad but they should be in that top 6 or near enough .

He'll start against Watford now Molumby got a red.

Starting to get exposed in a more open style but then again so so will all the defenders as Mowbray's teams rarely keep clean sheets.

- Our striker playing on the right wing
- Our best right winger is on the bench because our striker is there
- Our best midfielder is upfront because our striker is out wide
- An aging ponderous Swift plays because our best midfielder is upfront.

How is any of that justifiable? It’s madness.
You just can't argue this above ,  I cannot understand why Mowbray would do this . You can add Molumby wide right against Hull or behind the forward at Norwich too .
Not been easy coming into a side already not winning or scoring enough but dear me Tony's made a pigs ear of this right now.

Not sure I agree with this, on Saturday TF was within 5 yards of the touchline (in front of us) for the majority of the game, he made numerous runs against the 12 year old looking Naarwich full back, but no-one sent the ball in his direction. Later on in 2 nd half he started drifting in to get the ball.

Meanwhile we put numerous crosses onto the heads of their central halves to no avail as Armstrong was dwarfed by them.
We were there too , I'm not just talking about the Norwich game in fairness .  We used to get the ball out wide asap under Carlos , now we are far too slow either side and he does have them trying to cut in when possible . I know Mowbray didnt have wingers first time around as such but Fellows and Johnston are a real threat at this level when used right .
Quite why we are whacking it up to Armstrong or trying to whip curled balls in behind I don't know.

I didn't want him back and If it wasnt for his rich history with us he'd be under real pressure right now , I can only hope its a case of getting back into the swing of it because the performances are flat and he's saying some strange stuff in the press not to mention use of his players right now.
Its getting a whiff of one job too many , time waits for nobody .

Are these players really better than this? I have serious doubts.
Played well enough under Corberan but not without scoring issues , I can't look past Tony with his baffling subs and line ups at the minute , makes it worse when he says we played well.
Fellows and MJ have gone backwards under Tony for sure.

The most unlike Mowbray midfielder we have , he might as well leave.

Just about sums it up for me. If he fails to get top 6 with this squad then we have to shake hands at the end of the season and part ways.
I can't argue with that , I don't think a load of new players in the Summer would change this either.

Unfortunately Fellows value is dropping game by game.
He has a manager who doesn't want crosses in or the ball out wide quickly , Mowbray certainly has him cutting at every chance . Feel he's suffering because of this.

My gut feeling was never go back , that hasn't changed.
This side needed minor tweaks not the utter mess we see here , time waits for nobody I'm afraid.

Thought he was poor Today , not on his own I'll add .
I don't understand playing him when he is unlikely to be staying and clearly fading , he was a frustrating player when he signed and he's a older and slower frustrating player now.

Just on the way home from Norwich , felt the tide turned with a few Albion round us Today towards Mowbray.
Its not good enough from top to bottom , these players are better than this.
