Do you mean Albion79? 1979 was a good birth year for future Albion ITk’ers  ;D

I'm December 1979 so I'm breaking that rule as I'm clueless 😂

Said it all season and all over the board, let’s see him in midfield.

Could even give Frabotta a run out. I can't see him surprising us but it's not impossible even if very unlikely

Got to go with experience for this one and put out a team that will give their all for the cause. For me
Wildsmith, Furlong, Bartley, Holgate, Diangana, Mowatt, Swift, Wallace, Grant, Armstrong, Cole.

Can't see how that team loses to be fair!

I noticed that about JM & thought can't be a coincidence

I think a lot of our players main problems is they have a poor attitude unfortunately.

Molumby, Furlong, Mowatt, Bartley.

As soon as they got their new deals they all dropped off

That's why I wasn't sure Abella should stay
He's worked with a lot of these players already
A new head coach with new staff is better suited
In a lot of instances

I do agree with this. A fresh start required a completely fresh start.

Also feels like Tony has less staff than the last manager. Maybe that was also an error.

Did anyone catch Bartley screaming at him again at one point for not showing for the ball?

That's generally Bartleys way of acknowledging he's having a bad game himself I yhink

If he went off a cliff he would take 15 minutes to hit the bloody water.
I never thought we would have the technology to do slow mo at the stadium, but it appears we do.

He's always been super slow so you think aging won't hurt him in that sense but, bugger me, its making a big difference

He's dropping a cliff for me, similar to Wallace.

I don't want him getting enough appearances to activate his 3rd year.

Might be a poor trainer.  It's not like he's smashed it in every appearance, he's been extremely dodgy in some games.  Even today, he managed to let the ball roll under his foot and we lost possession.

I'd still try him, he can't be worse than Mowatt and Swift.

Possible he's a bad trainer but still. In games hes generally been ok. Deserves a chance ahead of Mowatt Swift etc as you say

Can we stop blaming Lai now. the last manager and the club chose to renew Mowatt and Bartley contracts. Yes some deadwood is still there but our singing have been poor, the Italian, Price, Bany, MJ etc hardly stumping up trees. Also sold our best player.

I'm talking about the mish-mash, imbalanced parts of the squad.

Anything Bilkul have done then of course they are responsible for

Well he and Diangana have had far too much game time as it is this season. They should both figure no more through the end of the season

Could literally play likes of Whitwell etc as subs once mathematically impossible.  They can't be worse than Swift. Can they ??!

Nestor made a comment at the start of the season saying the’d run a game model & believed the squad should finish 6 points better off than last year, at the time I thought it was fanciful & it’s looking pretty farcical now.

Corberan was desperate to get out of the club by the end, I do have this nagging feeling was it partly down to working with Nestor.

As you say it’s 10x better than last year & the Heggem, Price signings are encouraging but there is also the Frabotta, Cole signings & the managerial appointment looks to be the wrong one (not withstanding the process took far too long). It’s been a mixed bag so far.

I do agree that the last manager wanted out partly due to Nestor influence. He had free reign under Lai pretty much. Under Bilkul that level.of authority was diminished

Thing is we haven't got bad players. We just haven't got a team! It's like weve got a 20 piece jigsaw made up of 20 pieces from different jigsaws!

I do agree with this. The after effects of the Lai era.

If I were him it would be less “knocking on the managers door” and more hiring a jcb and going straight for the training centre building at full pelt .

Don't know what he did to upset Carlos and Tony but it must be bad

We have failed this lad this season. He has more to offer than we have given him credit for.

Clear to me they got the new manager search wrong.

Now we know they have way they want to play and are looking for players that fit that system they need to target and appoint someone who plays that way.

You can't appoint a manager that doesn't play the way you want and expect good results.

Over the last 6 games only Sheffield Wednesday has a poorer record than us out of the 24 teams in the championship.

Sounds like Rohl has given up and wants out

And that’s your opinion which of course you’re entitled to. Their midfield is way better than ours in my view and it showed. Where we do agree is on those half time substitutes. You are still in the game, still have eleven men and he brings those two on. Bizarrely, when the game is done and we are down to ten men, he brings two strikers on!

I do agree that their midfield today was better than ours
Partly due to Mowbray selection and Molumby being an idiot along with Mowbrays determination not to start Diakite (injury or not)

As you says the subs, both sets of them, were absolutely baffling and indefensible

Fair enough guys it's all.about opinions.  None of us will ever know either way sadly.

Just another season that burnt out. Ugh ??

Will have to agree to disagree because I entirely disagree with your opinion and firmly believe that we would have finished 5th under him and been far better than we have for the past four months.

What we are being served up now is frankly a disgrace

Fair enough it's fine to disagree. Be boring on here otherwise!

We’d have strolled the playoffs with the transfer business we did in Jan. The only teams close to us were Blackburn and Watford, who were never going to finish above us. He had us 8 points clear of Bristol City and 11 clear of Coventry.

Why would you remove the first 4 games? Do they not count? Remove 4 of Mowbray’s 5 wins and we’re the worst team in the league by a distance.

Without Carlos compensation we wouldn't have been able to do the business we did in Jan.

Also Carlos would have lost Maja and Palmer. 2 of his main, main players. I think we would have continued to struggle

I’ve said before that I think Carlos was going stale but looking at our Jan business I think he would have done Gaz.

Would we have done the Jan business we did though if the last manager had remained? I don't think so as wouldnit have had his compo money to spend.

Two wins in his last three games. We were on the way back after the bad spell that most teams go through in a season that was magnified massively by people on here and on social media because that’s how it goes.

We can only dream of a manager of his ability now, and people didn’t think he was good enough for us. Makes me smile…or is that grimace

We will never know but I genuinely believe it wasnt going to get better.

I would never say he wasn't good enough for us, that would be ridiculous but it was clear to see that, for whatever reason, his time here was done so glad dto get paid for him rather than ,glad to see back of him'

Bilkul can't employ managers who cant play their own way. If they want to decide on formation, model.etc then they need to go out there and pay the money to find a man who plays that way. Not sign someone who is the opposite of Carlos and say play Carlos way

As bad as we were first half (and we were bad) the introduction of those two at half time just made the heart sink. Any chance of getting anything out of this game went there and then. There was no point of watching anymore. If everyone else (practically) can see this there is absolutely no excuse for Mowbray.

Yup, could literally have switched off as bringing Swift on is waving the white flag. I didn't expect him to cock it up quite so quickly though
