I'm December 1979 so I'm breaking that rule as I'm clueless 😂

Do you mean Albion79? 1979 was a good birth year for future Albion ITk’ers
Said it all season and all over the board, let’s see him in midfield.
Got to go with experience for this one and put out a team that will give their all for the cause. For me
Wildsmith, Furlong, Bartley, Holgate, Diangana, Mowatt, Swift, Wallace, Grant, Armstrong, Cole.
I noticed that about JM & thought can't be a coincidence
That's why I wasn't sure Abella should stay
He's worked with a lot of these players already
A new head coach with new staff is better suited
In a lot of instances
Did anyone catch Bartley screaming at him again at one point for not showing for the ball?
If he went off a cliff he would take 15 minutes to hit the bloody water.
I never thought we would have the technology to do slow mo at the stadium, but it appears we do.
Might be a poor trainer. It's not like he's smashed it in every appearance, he's been extremely dodgy in some games. Even today, he managed to let the ball roll under his foot and we lost possession.
I'd still try him, he can't be worse than Mowatt and Swift.
Can we stop blaming Lai now. the last manager and the club chose to renew Mowatt and Bartley contracts. Yes some deadwood is still there but our singing have been poor, the Italian, Price, Bany, MJ etc hardly stumping up trees. Also sold our best player.
Well he and Diangana have had far too much game time as it is this season. They should both figure no more through the end of the season
Nestor made a comment at the start of the season saying the’d run a game model & believed the squad should finish 6 points better off than last year, at the time I thought it was fanciful & it’s looking pretty farcical now.
Corberan was desperate to get out of the club by the end, I do have this nagging feeling was it partly down to working with Nestor.
As you say it’s 10x better than last year & the Heggem, Price signings are encouraging but there is also the Frabotta, Cole signings & the managerial appointment looks to be the wrong one (not withstanding the process took far too long). It’s been a mixed bag so far.
Thing is we haven't got bad players. We just haven't got a team! It's like weve got a 20 piece jigsaw made up of 20 pieces from different jigsaws!
If I were him it would be less “knocking on the managers door” and more hiring a jcb and going straight for the training centre building at full pelt .
Over the last 6 games only Sheffield Wednesday has a poorer record than us out of the 24 teams in the championship.
And that’s your opinion which of course you’re entitled to. Their midfield is way better than ours in my view and it showed. Where we do agree is on those half time substitutes. You are still in the game, still have eleven men and he brings those two on. Bizarrely, when the game is done and we are down to ten men, he brings two strikers on!
Will have to agree to disagree because I entirely disagree with your opinion and firmly believe that we would have finished 5th under him and been far better than we have for the past four months.
What we are being served up now is frankly a disgrace
We’d have strolled the playoffs with the transfer business we did in Jan. The only teams close to us were Blackburn and Watford, who were never going to finish above us. He had us 8 points clear of Bristol City and 11 clear of Coventry.
Why would you remove the first 4 games? Do they not count? Remove 4 of Mowbray’s 5 wins and we’re the worst team in the league by a distance.
I’ve said before that I think Carlos was going stale but looking at our Jan business I think he would have done Gaz.
Two wins in his last three games. We were on the way back after the bad spell that most teams go through in a season that was magnified massively by people on here and on social media because that’s how it goes.
We can only dream of a manager of his ability now, and people didn’t think he was good enough for us. Makes me smile…or is that grimace
As bad as we were first half (and we were bad) the introduction of those two at half time just made the heart sink. Any chance of getting anything out of this game went there and then. There was no point of watching anymore. If everyone else (practically) can see this there is absolutely no excuse for Mowbray.
