Nice to hear Tuchel call out Rashford and more importantly Foden as not impacting the game enough

Loved his interview, loved the one before the match too where he called out our performances in the summer.

He’s spot on in his assessment of us and I am very confident he will bring positive change after the politician/diplomat we had in charge of us for many years

I watched the second half of this game on itv4 (they have the TV rights for about 8 la liga games I think).

Gutted to see Barcelona win, and a devastating week for Atleti as they let a 2 nil lead slip at home with not long to go in the game.

On separate note the 16 goal difference is not as significant as it is in our leagues they use a head to head system in Spain.

As with Dan, I did not know this.

I remember Barca destroying them in the Bernabeu earlier in the season, was quite the watch.

Barcelona returned to the top of La Liga on goal difference following their 2-4 victory away to Atletico Madrid last night. They're currently sixteen goals to the good over Real Madrid.

They are on fire at the minute it has to be said, domestically and in Europe.

I am not fully up to speed with their financial issues, but it seems a complete mess behind the scenes, but with their academy continuing to produce gems like Yamal, Gavi, Cubarsi, Pedri etc they seem to be able to sustain it on the pitch.

And this is why Price & Molumby MUST play in the centre, no more experimental setups or square pegs.......

It was such a bizarre team selection. Still scratching my head about it two days later

A really good draw for Valencia away at Girona last night taking them up to 16th in the table.

Unbeaten against all but the big three in that league since CC took them over.

He definitely frustrated me yesterday, at the same time he was our biggest threat.

This is the thing. Without him, or Swift making passes through the eye of a needle, there was no creativity whatsoever on Saturday, it was quite concerning.

Poor performance , not a great result .
Baffled by TM's selections at times .

It’s short and to the point, but entirely correct.

If you think the chances we've had this game, and the chances Hull have had have been roughly the equivalent, then I don't know what to tell you.

I don’t recall us having a clear cut 1 on 1 like that.

Brilliant from Wildsmith in fairness to him

It is literally their first shot on target

Compared to our what, two/three? We’ve hardly been beating the door down…

Price is going to make us a lot of money in a couple of years time

You need to stop this digging Mowbray out all the time abit embarrassing!

I’m not digging anyone out all the time. I gave credit where it was due against Burnley and this team selection and performance has been awful so he has dug him out of a hole with it as there would be a lot of questions to answer if we didn’t win.

Your obsession with me is the embarrassment. As well as your inability to spell, but that’s another matter entirely

Individual brilliance from Price. Got TM out of a hole with that strike

Big chance for them. We need to change this, it hasn’t look right all game

Home performances continue to be poor. Not sure on the team selection at all here, if you’re playing 2 up front, Grant should not be one of them, Molumby is not a winger

Started really poorly again, as we have done in all the home games under TM so far.

Need a better performance here

Molumby on the right wing is very weird

No stream  :( relying on you guys.

You’ve lost your powers DB  ;D

I will not be giving a running commentary from the BRE I’m afraid

Right wing back I expect.

I was correct, definitely at right back

Wildsmith 😩

Yep, I’m equally dismayed to see his name. Hopefully we’ll get away with the guaranteed fumbled cross or spilled shot in this game

I’m thinking Price at right back? He effectively played there against Burnley

Big game, as they all are at this stage of the season, but more emphasis on winning your home games I guess with the swathe of teams beneath us ready to take our place if we slip up.

Hull have a promising, young coach in charge, but we have a better squad and their main striking option is banned which will help massively, as Pedro is a good player.

Hoping to see a marked improvement performance wise from the first half against QPR, the Oxford game and the Blackburn game, as I feel performances have not been brilliant at home under TM as yet.
