Let's imagine we do sign Wimmer and miraculously Evans and Chadli stay with us.

Imagine also that there are no offers for Rondon and he and Chadli patch up their differences with TP.

I then imagine we could have a back four such as Dawson, Evans, Hegazi and Wimmer with Rondon up front and Chadli playing just behind him.

Imagine also we have two attacking wingers Phillips and, although I know he's not a winger, J Rod causing havoc out wide.

Add to that Gareth Barry in the midfield, keeping it all calm with Claudio mopping up any attacks that threaten.

If all that were to happen, how would our prospects be. Would TP let us off the leash?
Could we become a more attractive football team?

In all seriousness, i doubt TP could let loose of the reins whoever we had in the side. Its my opinion that he is inherently cautious and risk averse.

I'm bumping this because now we have Burke, it makes an exciting season even more possible.

Imagine a Baggies team with Burke in the starting side with Chadli still playing middle behind Rodriquez and Jonny Evans staying on to bolster our defence.

I think we'd do well and have the crowd's flocking back to the Hawthorns.

He'll, I think even Glyn would come back!

Dawson's a quality defender and I think Hegazi is. As good as Nyom was, I think that'd be a terrific back four and retains our set piece quality offensively and defensively. You could combine our squad a whole number of ways now and you couldn't argue to be honest.

Is PIM the Polish lad? If so, he's going to be a real asset as you don't play for the teams he has without having something special. For me though, Gareth Barry already has the respect of Pulis (hence the captaincy last week), & is going to have a big season with us. I think eventually, TP will play both.
